No excuses, Denver outplayed us and deserved to win, our O-line was horrible!!! Another great year though, especially with all our injuries
Yeah I just don't want to listen to the owed to Peyton nonsense until he gets blown out in the SB. This is 2013 all over again. Denver won because of our poor OL and injuries on offense.

Denver won fair and square. We left 7 points on the field which was the difference. The d was put in a tough position all game due to the oline and terrible passes by brady.

When I look back at the 2015 season, that's what I'll remember.

We ****ed around in Philly, our gameplan against the Jets was awful (and kicking in overtime...) and then the WORST called game of Bill Belichick's career against the Dolphins.

Awful. There was no ****ing reason for us to be playing in Denver. Sad.

Personally, I'd prefer a WR to be my team's deep threat.
It's all on the wretched O line. Even during last year's SB run, the signs were there that the O line personnel was subpar. It has been confirmed. Wretched from left to right. And I hope BB examines the coaching side of this grouping as well. When you can't run block and can't pass block....accountability.

Not sure if I agree with this. It's kind of a lose-lose either way. You can't count on DEN to repeatedly give you the ball back like they did. Either way the missed PAT looms large.

So it's a bad thing to have faith in the one unit that consistently delivered today?

Hindsight is always 20/20 but even before the game ended I was not confident in making a 2 point conversion. We should have kicked the field goal on at least one of the 4th down tries earlier in Q4.

On to 2016...

Not hindsight! They shoudl have kicked a field goal on that possession with 5 minutes left. If they had, they could have won the game with just 3 field goals....and they were in position to get all 3 of them. Faulking coaching lost the game.

No team will ever match the fraudulence of the 2015 Denver Broncos.

I can't f*cking believe that phony team is in the SuperBowl. Makes me want to puke brighter orange than those repulsive jerseys.

The Broncos squeak out win after win, all year long, to incompetent teams who shoot themselves in the foot multiple times throughout the game, especially late, including the Browns, Ravens, Chiefs, Vikings, which helped the Broncos to a 8-0 start (not to mention a couple more lame, unconvincing wins against the Pats, Bears, Chargers, Bengals)

They squeak into the #1 seed with their terrible set of QBs, largely in part thanks to 1) a referee screwjob in Denver that would've given the Pats the tie-breaker, b) the Pats being the #1 most injured team in the league while Denver remained the #1 most healthiest, and c) Pats ailing to beat the Eagles, but most notably the Jets and Dolphins under extremely bizarre conditions, thus forfeiting home-field advantage.

They squeak their way into the AFCCG after barely getting by the 6 seed Steelers who had two All-Pro caliber players: Bell and Brown out, and with a sh*t-shoulder Roethlisberger at QB. But of course, late in the game, the opposition just had to shoot themselves in the foot. Before you know it, a JAG practice squadder fumbles the ball to Denver to flip the game around in their favor (sound familiar?).

Then of all damn things, it takes Gostkowski to royal f*ck up and miss an EXTRA POINT of all things, which absolutely played a huge factor in determining the final score.

The o-line, how the Pats' played in this game, and the coaching decisions are for another topic of course.

Please contain the misery here for the time-being

Game changes if we go for those.

It doesn't unfold the same way. Including a 40 yard passes to gronk at the end.

It was the right move at the time cause time was running out and we literally wasn't moving the ball all game.

It was the right move and I dot question it. I question how manning had all those open lanes to throw in the first quarter. Game was legit lost in the first.

The issue however was with the way the offense looked there was no guarantee that would they be able to get 2 more field goals or a touchdown, and also assuming the defense makes stops quickly.

can someone post the time, down and distance needed on both the 4th down calls please

I don't know if this is correct at all, but my gut reaction:

White vs. Dion was the difference between SB champs and not :(
I don't think so, we were just too injured all over, Solder hurt us the most, due to our inability to protect Brady, our coaches were not themselves. I hear Edelman has re-injured the foot.

The NEP were mostly horrible for the second half of the season, after jetting out front to prove their off-season point(s). However, they ran out of bodies and fell apart. They looked like the same team struggling in the last 6 games as they did against Denver, today. When TB is not able to march down the field and score, you know they might not win. And when Ghost misses an extra point, you know things are not good.

Consider that the DEN game had a lot to do with mucking it up at the end of the season; losing home-field advantage.

And the O-Line...they're lucky they didn't get TB killed! They should be treating him to dinners...for the whole year! This has got to be one of the worst NEP O-lines I've ever seen. They're junior varsity!

Oline is and has been absolute trash all season. Lost us the game. We had everything else for a bowl. Fix it, its embarrassing

Goddamn missed XP

Goddamn snap count never being adjusted

Let me hear the logic about how it was a better matchup to go on the road against Denver than against the Steelers at home. I want to hear them.
There was no logic to any of those arguments, we both know that. ;)

The better team won today. No shame in that their defense showed up our offense didn't and we still lost in the final seconds of play. We need a better OLINE if Edelman, Gronk and boys don't get separation we have nothing.
