Sorry I had to post this, Marshall even retweeted it. There's no helping you if you think that's OPI. Get the vid not a still frame pic idiot.

At this point in the season the officials just need to stay out of the way. Just call the obvious stuff and let the athletes decide the game on the field.

I'm more scared of the officiating considering our last game in Denver than I am of the Broncos. If the game is called straight up, I will be shocked if we don't win.
I am concerned too.

The NFL would like nothing more than to have Peyton to ride off in the sunset in a blaze of glory ala Ray Lewis. Chance at another Super Bowl ring for Manning would be a feel good story fit for a movie.

that might require a good bit of selective penalties to make that happen.

Meh ..... I don't buy into the conspiracy.

If they were out to " get us", a Holding or PI could have been called away from the ball against us on the Butler pick.

If we take care of business, we won't worry about a call or two.

How about 4? There were 4 calls or non calls against us by my count in the 4th quarter of that game and all were impactful. I don't expect it again, but I am concerned.

One can see #30 get his hands on Gronk, and the arm extension is in response to the hold in an effort to break free.

The contact was violent enough that it actually forced Gronk's head and upper body back, and it is rather impressive that he shook that hit off and ran the route well enough to catch that pass from TB12.

If they're going to call stuff like this in the playoffs, then they deserve a (sure to be riveting:rolleyes:) Denver-Carolina Superbowl.

0 Superbowls since Cap Gate
(man I hope I didn't just jinx us)

Yeah this is clearly not OPI whatsoever. The defender initiates contact... now what's Gronk supposed to do? Just let himself get beat up? No, he's trying to free himself/fend off the contact made by the defender so he can run his route/get open.

It's the Shaquille O'Neal treatment.

A clear no-call, play on for any other player in the NFL, but when you're the best of the best, an unstoppable force, ticky tack nonsense that's borderline gets called in order to "even the playing field".

It's poor reffing, but it's just something Gronk has to be aware of. He's held to a higher standard, not only because he's the most dangerous offensive weapon in the NFL, but also because he plays for the New England Patriots....

Yeah it's delusional, but Jets fans wrote the book on delusion and confirm it with each waking breath.
