Hmm, I guess I just can't see it then.
here is thetext of the tweet

@bruceallen Thanks for the RT, Bruce. For the record: I was wrong then. Pats had/have a right to be pissed. I was part of the problem.

Guess the tweet got taken down? I'm curious now.

I believe Kevin was referring to Bruce Retweeting this tweet which referenced a tweet Kevin had tweeted last January during the whole Deflategate circus. It is refreshing for someone to come out and say they were flat out wrong especially since it goes against the agenda of their employer.

This was a very well written article from a Journalist. I capitalized that because so much of what you read today seems like cheerleading for one side or the other. Even if this article used references we have seen before, it is how it was used and weaved into a narrative that gives me hope that the profession of journalism still has people who take pride in their work.

In this age of blogs and tweets, it's so easy to get an opinion written that authors often don't appreciate the space reserved for them anymore. What do I mean? In the days when "All the news that's fit to print" (courtesy of the New York Times) actually meant something because there was literally only so much real estate you had for your column in a newspaper, journalists then seemed to care for every word they put to paper.

This piece reminded me that the practice still exists once in a while. Don't get me wrong, I'm not one of those guys who wishes we were "back in the day" so to speak. I love the benefits of the internet particularly with respect to the speed it can deliver the news (though knowing its accuracy is affected), but seeing writers write with the care of someone being limited on column space once again is quite refreshing.

Well characterized "Decent." I read this earlier. I found it to be a pretty good representation of Brady from what I can tell. Good to see a bunch of different elements pulled together in one place.

I found his characterization of Brady's demonstrativeness on the sideline following last week's pylon dash to be inconsistent with what I saw, but that's small potatoes. He wasn't arguing for a challenge. He was fired-up. "Did you see me out there? Did you? I was all flying and twisting through the air. I'm running the sneak if we lose this challenge no matter what, so you better call it." (Or at least that's how my almost non-existent lip reading skills translated it.)

So we got a mea culpa from Kravitz earlier in the week and now this. That's great, but if they really want to make amends, how about writing about who in the NFL lied about the ball measurements and why they created this story to hurt their most successful franchise and arguably the best player ever in their sport. And write about how the NFL needs to give the draft pick back.

I have to admit. The piece was very well written and if a minion like Shaughnessey had any skills, this piece would have been written 5 years ago by one of our own.

So Sad

Yeah, I saw what you saw. He was excited and fired up with Josh, not yelling at him.

My favorite part from the article, referencing Brady's pregame ritual.
When he reached the end zone, he roared, slashing the air with a vigorous punch. Kansas City tight end Travis Kelce, looking on from a few yards away, mocked Brady with a celebration of his own, punching the air and bobbing his head. Brady glanced at Kelce, acknowledging he had seen the gesture, but jogged away in a manner suggesting that lions do not concern themselves with the opinions of sheep.

Wow, never expected this and he is replying to comments on this tweet

There's a lot of intelligent people who took the Mort/NFL/ESPN 11 of 12 as gospel

Barstool goes on about his about face

The Entire Country Could Learn A Thing Or Two About Humility And Honor From ESPN’s Kevin Van Valkenburg

Although I'm not fool enough to kid myself, having heard that the NFL tested the footballs during the Vikings game - and may release the findings during Super Bowl week - part of me can't help but think that someone finally convinced Roger that the only way for him to save even a bit of face, is to use the opportunity to admit he was wrong, like Van Valkenburg did, using the "science" from that recent game as proof

Of course this is Roger Goodell, who only does what the owners tell him (though it's the owners who also control ESPN and this article got written so....) - so that probably means some fabricated PSI numbers to make Goodell look good and Brady look bad, which of course he'd release on the eve of the Super Bowl

ESPN is just reeling you in now in order to gut you later. Don't bother reading.

My favorite part from the article, referencing Brady's pregame ritual.
What I also found interesting was that a few days ago, Aaron Dobson tweeted that exact same "lions do not concern themselves..." line, seemingly at random.

Very well written article. I enjoyed it. Shocked it's from ESPN.

The Boston Globe should note how the information on Guerrero was written, instead of denigrating him solely this author presents balance and discuss how Brady believes in it and how it has positively impacted his health and life.. he mentions his "staph' infection, think that is the first time that I have seen it articulated that way...

Minihane also might want to take note, every time I say that mediots name I get agita...

I really don't give 2 flips about this guy's 'my bad' now that he's peddling something to the nep market.

he was pretty quick to pull the trigger on the pats, so I asked him to link me to some of his stuff critical of the league, thinking he must've been all over that once he realized he was wrong -- he linked me to a piece he and natta did about ray rice in fall of 2014.

#### that guy
