Very Simple: Please answer the two following questions........

1.) Who do you want to see win the NFC Championship Game IF the Broncos win?

2.) Who do you want to see win teh NFC Championship Game IF the Patriots win?

For the me the answer is the same for each question (but different reasoning)........

1.) Cardinals - easy team to root for. A well rounded team that I would like to see beat the Broncos if the Broncos manage to get there. Honestly I think both Carolina and Arizona would be capable of beating the Broncos, but I just find the Cardinals to be more likable (hard not to like Fitz and Palmer).

2.) Cardinals - Both teams would make life difficult for the Pats, but with the Cardinals I would prefer to play against a less mobile quarterback.

I completely agree with you, except that I don't mind Carolina as much as some people. I think cam is a really good quarterback.

I think the Cardinals are a better matchup for the Pats. I think Carolina (who put up 24 against the Seahawks defense) would give Denver more trouble.

Seems to be a lot of Carolina hate on this board. Not sure why. They seem to have a lot of high-profile "good guys" on their team (Cam, Kuechly, Olsen, Thomas Davis, Jared Allen) and no one that stands out as a particularly bad guy. The coach is nonobjectionable and their fans are invisible. What gives?

Both Josh Norman and Cam Newton just rub me the wrong way in different ways. I'd root for the Cardinals regardless. Although not in the same league as Baltimore vs SF in terms of rooting for the lesser of two evils a Denver vs Carolina wouldn't leave me with a team to root for at least a little vs pure just rooting against a team I hate (Baltimore then and Denver now).

1) IF, (God forbid) the Broncos win, I'd love to see the Cardinals win the Superbowl, especially over the Broncos. Bruce Arians is a great coach and seems like a good person in general. Also, seeing Fitzgerald (one of the best WRs of all time) hoist a Lombardi is a sight that I'm sure most true football fans would enjoy.

2) WHEN, (Brady willing) the Patriots win, I'd rather see Carolina. Yes, they went 15-1 this year, but they did it against three of the WORST divisions in football, in the AFC South, NFC East and NFC South. They faced 6 of the bottom 10 defenses in football (in terms of yards allowed) including the BOTTOM THREE. The Giants (32nd), Saints twice (31st), Eagles, (30th) Redskins (28th), Colts (26th) and Jaguars (24th) are not going to scare anyone, and will make most offenses look dynamic and explosive. They also faced 7 of the bottom 10 defenses in football in terms of points allowed, in the Saints twice (32nd), Jaguars (31st), Giants (30th), Eagles (28th), Titans (27th), Buccaneers twice (26th) and the Colts (25th).

Meanwhile, Arizona is 2nd to only Carolina (who faced inferior competition) in total points scored, as well as yards per game on offense. They have Larry Fitzgerald and Michael Floyd at wide receiver, plus John Brown, who's no slouch (1000+ yards this year on 65 catches). Our glued-together cornerback corps has performed admirably, but I'd rather play against Corey Brown, Tedd Ginn Jr. and Devin Funchess, none of whom caught more than 56% of passes thrown their way (with the latter two not exceeding or even meeting 50%). Of course, Cam Newton is a much higher threat to tuck and run than Carson Palmer, but all signs indicate that the Cardinals are the harder matchup.

The argument for Carolina versus Arizona (at least on Defense) comes down to who do we trust more? Our front seven, to keep Newton in check, or our secondary, to stop Arizona's WRs from running amok?

Personally, I'll take Cam and Carolina eleven times out of ten.

Cam is a good guy? I ******** hate him the most on that team - too much showboating

If the Patriots win I don't care, we will play whoever shows up.
If the Patriots don't win, I don't care football is over for the season for me.

I need to revise my answer.

If Pats win: Cardinals.
If Broncos win: Panthers, then meteor during SB

doesn't make a difference either way

Listen........Those Patriots are out there.....They can't be bargained with, They can't be reasoned with.....they don't feel pity or remorse or fear......and they absolutely will not stop, ever, until you are dead.

I can't understand loving Gronk but thinking Cam is a POS showboater.

Either way, mods pls ban OP for making me imagine the Broncos beating the pats.

This thread was built for a poll. Four options, nice simple poll. You can still add it. :)

If DEN goes to SB I want ARI to win. If SB is DEN-CAR, then I'm rooting for:

Cardinals if Pats win. Panthers if refs give the win to Mile Hgh City :)
No way I want to see Carson Palmer choking away the superbowl to pinkhead.

Yeah, for me personally Cam Newton is the biggest douchebag in the league and ever since they won that bearhug game against us in 2013 their fans have been obnoxious. But that's only how I see things.. fortunately different people see things differently otherwise it would be a pretty boring existence..

I think the Panthers are the better team of the two. I think the Pats match up better against the Panthers than the Cardinals. The best outcome is the Pats winning it all (obviously), and IMO the worst outcome is the Broncos winning it all. I like both the Cardinals and Panthers, and would have no problem with either team winning it all. I think the Pats would rather play the Panthers, and the Broncos would rather play the Cardinals.

Based on all of that, I'm rooting for the Panthers in the NFCCG regardless of whoever wins the AFC.
