If your power goes out, your cable is sure to follow. I live in Charlestown near the beach road. I have a generator to backup but I have Cox Cable and they always go the way NatGrid does down here. Radio, my friend..or laptop.

That is true, I am just a weather geek and want to see what could happen. This storm, I am more worried about wind, flooding, and beach erosion.

I have no idea whats going to happen in CT, some places are saying only a few inches of snow and some are saying 12 inches.

Yesterday I heard a foot, today I'm hearing an inch at the most. All we can do is wait and see I guess.

Montgomery County already canceled schools for tomorrow and snow won't even start until mid afternoon. The wimps. Our kids already have Monday off (teacher seminar day) so we are on a 4 day weekend now. Good thing I work from home.

Ugh. we are getting the absolute brunt. I am worried that we won't have power for the game.

Tomorrow though, I am squeezing in one climbing session before this nightmare commences. Cross your fingers this doesn't start till the afternoon because I'm going in the morning.

Oh I love Capitol Weather Gang! Yes, they are the absolute best! My intention is to be done by 1:30 at the latest. Then it's a 30 minute drive from my gym. I hope I'm not cutting it too close! Of course I will follow along while I'm there and if anything changes, I'll leave earlier. It's just knowing I'm going to be stuck for God knows how long, I hate to lose the gains I've built up. Climbing muscles can't take too long of a break!

I have a generator and Direct Tv so if the power goes out im all set will not miss any of the game .Of course since I bought the generator 3 years ago the power has not even come close to going out,

How much did that generator cost? I wish I had one.
