ESPN just reported that Matthew Slater is going to be out this weekend due to shoulder injury...
Damn, special teams better be on their A game...

Any time an all-pro player is out, that's not good. The Broncos did lose their best return man in Bolden. Pats need to really grind because ST is one area where they have struggled and now missing their leader and best player on the unit.

Man all I know is the ST has to be much better on this game than the last time against them.

I wonder if the fact that Bolden is out for this game made any difference in the decision to sit Slater.

That sucks.

Not like ST has been all peaches and cream this year. On a lot of returns it was a one man show with slater taking the return man down and no one else within 10 yds. .....this could be ugly on 4th downs.

But i guess if TB does his job, Allen wont have to punt and we wont miss him. (Odds pretty slim vs #1 D and if wind/weather pick up)

Outside of the Eagles game and the muffed punts, I have to disagree with this. Coverage wise ST has been good as usual.
