Weather for AFCCG: Rain/Snow?

Indeed. I know the Broncos have some stuff going for them but they have one of the worst starting QB in the league. If we can't beat them anywhere in any conditions we certainly shouldn't be in the Super Bowl.

Their defense is still good, and will be amped up for this game. Defense, in particular, has a large mental component. I expect it to be tougher than the Chiefs game.

Hoping I'm wrong.

they were amped up against the steelers and steelers moved the ball pretty easily minus bell, williams, and brown....just sayin'

the pats know how to move the ball on that defense......they did it without edelman and amendola

Yeah....that's what I'm hoping too, just saying they will be peaking this weekend, won't be surprised to see them come out extremely sharp.....better than against the Steelers. Crowd too...

I'm expecting a very close game, closer than Chiefs is all I'm saying.

Again, hoping to be wrong here....I'm not as confident as every other Pats' fan I've met in person today. Never like it when we (fans) get so confident like this...Prefer a bit more caution :)

We also just lost our first ever BB/Brady snow game this year...in Denver.

Corrected it for you.

not only that, but the pats did their fair share of blowing that game, too

who will be peaking? I think the pats have more upside with a week under edelman's belt, more confidence with keshawn martin, an additional week for amendola.

hell, I think lafell is prime for a more than mediocre game

I think the pats are going to beat the denver with a million little knife cuts

thanks bill. this could cost us a trip to the SB

we'd kill them at Gillette in the freezing cold!!!
Water under the bridge or snow down the avalanche...but you're right, if the game's in Foxboro with Peyton at QB, it could have been a reprise of the 2003 AFCCG ("The Ty Law Point of Emphasis Game").
But, we're gonna win. If they can beat us twice in a season (whatever we feel about the lousy calls last time), then they should be going to the SB, not us. But, I'm not worried about that happening. I just hope that Peyton saves his picks for the second half so we don't get Osweiler too early.

Predicting Lafell plays his best game of the year Sunday.

sunbathin' weather if you ask me

My house is in 80247... just weird having you guys talk specifically about MY city for a change. :)

Supposed to be 45/22 with minimal snow. Great thing about Colorado is the weather can change on a dime. Woke up yesterday to snow on the ground when we were supposed to be in the middle of a week of clear skies.

Don't worry, I'll be doing my snow dance Saturday night for our boys.

Everybody who reads my posts (my God, how did the total get to over 12,500...I MUST get a life...of course what does that say about Deus? :) ...but I digress)...

Everybody who reads my posts knows how cautious and wimpy I usually am when it comes to talking about games before they're played (but, hey, I am #5 in Alamo's contest after 17 games, so I must know something about how this team is going to play week by week ;) ...but again, I digress)...

Here's what I want to say...

The Patriots are going to win on Sunday. It won't be a rout, but we also won't be biting our nails at the Two Minute Warning in the fourth Quarter. It will be a tough, but decisive victory.

Need you be reminded that Baltimore, with a rather stout defense, won a Super Bowl with Trent Dilfer at QB?

AFC Championship Game temp keeps getting colder. Now 37 degrees at kickoff and light snow possible #9news #9sports

It won't be as cold as the November game. I froze my *** off that night. It didn't slow down either team though. I expect an "under" game this Sunday.

the current Denver offense is incompetent even in perfect conditions.
Far from it. It has a solid running game, quality receiving corps and a HOF quarterback who can get the job done despite diminishing skills.

Completely. And I mean completely different era. You cannot win a SB with that formula in today's NFL.

Which of by some reason the Pats lose the Broncos will get slaughtered in the Super Bowl.

So are we flying HGH airplane banners for ESPN stooges to cackle at or are we not that Lombardi-deprived/'cool'?
