Notice GE's CEO Jeffrey Immelt in there also. Seen him a couple of times this season, actually.

Don't think for a moment that Bob Kraft wasn't a crucial player in bringing their HQ to Boston...........

I'm not thinking that for a moment

Agreed. Most of the general populace doesn't follow that kind of stuff. But it truly affects peoples' lives a helluva lot more than Mr. Bon Jovi standing a few feet to his right.

Nice that Kraft is into that kind of thing - I want our #1 pick back and he doesn't give a crap about that. Kraft is all about the big boys, The 32 and the Immelts of the world - a world that I don't care about.

I agree. The capitualtion sucked and still sucks.

He's also the only owner to go out, TAMPER and get Belichick (for ANOTHER first rounder) when no one other than Crazy Ol' Man Davis in Oakland would even touch him.

34 Years Pre-Kraft - 1 SB Appearance (a 36 point embarrassing blowout)
21 years of Kraft - 7 SB Appearances ( hard fought losses or wins)

Life is complex. No one is ALL GOOD or ALL BAD.

Even I, BelichickFan, was uncertain if Belichick was worth a #1 pick back then. It seems funny to us now but a lot of fans thought Belichick was a bad choice, period, even without giving up a valuable pick.

Kraft was right and he has taken us for one hell of a ride. Got to love the old man for that but his non defense of Deflategate is inexcusable.

Agreed.

Like I wrote, life is complex.

Who was the guy that Kraft whacked on the face/head at around 45 seconds? Obviously in a friendly way, but kinda made Kraft look like some sort of a mob boss lol.

Lmao. Gotta love McCourty. He is great.

Love Bill going over and congratulating Sheard for "playoff win number 1." How about playoff APPEARANCE number 1? You know Sheard is loving it.

LaFell is still pissed that Brady cussed him out after his false start. Just giving him the cold shoulder.

Yeah, that stuck out clearly to me too. I'm not sure there's any closeness there.

LaFell was good last year - given the season he's had, though, and him not appearing too happy there (not sure how much should be read into it), I do wonder if he'll be back. $1M cap hit to release him, $2.5M cap savings. I'm assuming he'll be back, we'll see I guess.

Not a LaFail H8er but he's at risk next year IF BB finally gets some viable WR talent signed. Ironic if Dobson (I know, I know) beats him out for a spot on the 53.

LaFell supposedly hired Revis' uncle as his agent in the off-season. You only hire that guy when you are looking for more money.

Amen. Just watch Brady's megawatt smile in that video as he hugs Kraft.

Brady more than anyone knows how pathetically his boss played into the hands of the trumped-up scandal. But he also knows that it doesn't erase the previous 15 years of history -- his commitment to keeping the Patriots in Foxboro, to building a stadium without tax dollars or PSLs, to doing whatever it took to bring the right man in to lead the team, and to giving the coaches and players what they need to succeed every day.

Yeah, that stuck out clearly to me too. I'm not sure there's any closeness there.
Doesn't matter. He's gone sometime during next preseason. Maybe early as a courtesy so he can hook up with a new team, maybe late while BB and JMac get last looks at Dobson and any new talent brought in.
