Fleming wants Amendola to be suspended for hit...

I wanted to win the Powerball jackpot, but I only won $19.

I paid $10 and won $16. I'd be happy about that except I was in a pool of 18 people. :(

What possible reason would he get suspended on that play? Really I don't even see why he would get fined

Watching it again, it was a smart move by Danny. By knocking out that guy, the ball could theoretically roll in to the end zone and be a touchback. The punt team guy can't be a defenseless receiver. And the penalty only cost the team 2-3 yards.

mike and mike/lebatard were pushing this today.

Shocker

I haven't listened in a while, but Golic was always consistent in not overreacting to any hit or tackle. He would find a way to excuse or minimize plays that everyone else considered dirty. If Hines Ward had delivered that hit, Golic would have loved it. Involve a Patriots player, though, and apparently he thinks a suspension is justified.

Didn't Golic play for the Pats at one point?

Ah. I was confusing him with Bob Golic.

I didn't even know Bob Golic played for the Patriots, so thanks for that information.

A suspension is definately way over the top, but I'm in the minority in believing that the penalty on the play was justified. It was an unnessessary hit by DA
Why is it unnecessary? Hiss job is to keep the defender away from downing the ball.
Contrary to popular belief hitting someone really hard isn't a penalty.

yeah..pats drafted bob golic out of notre dame and released him a couple of years later. he was alright here but better in cleveland and oakland as a nose tackle.

He was at his best with Zack and Slater on Saved By the Bell: The College Years.

funny thing is fitzgerald who everybody loves had an illegal blindside block on one of the packers defenders. yet, nobody talks about him being potentially suspended. the bias is extraordinary.
