NFL might be planning to release "a summary" of PSI findings

League MAY release a summary of the PSI data..

"The league has not yet committed to making any of the PSI information public. However, a source with knowledge of the situation tells PFT that the league may be releasing a summary of the data between the conference title games and the Super Bowl."

Wouldn't have anything to do with distracting the Pats if they do win Sunday?

#integrity

NFL still might disclose 2015 PSI summaries

I wouldn't trust the information without seeing the data to back it up. Room temp at 1st measurement, weather conditions, temp of room at halftime and timing of measurement for each ball etc...

The timing release is curious as the OP points out and I wouldn't put it past Goodell to cook these numbers to release them ahead of the NFL appeal in early feb.

Dude, the only way the league release the numbers is if they cook them first, and the Patriots win the AFCCG...it will be the league trying to throw another wrench in our SB win and turn public opinion against us...there is no way they are backing down from this stupid fight.

13 of 14 games showed no difference in pre-game and halftime measurements. That's the kind of info they'd release. No mention that those games were played at 70 degree weather. There's no way they release anything that would make them look more foolish than they already do.

If they release the numbers, it will implicate the Patriots.

If the numbers exonerate the Patriots, they won't release the numbers.

I don't trust that at all as the results can be manipulated. If the results have been manipulated and prove the NFL right that the Ideal Gas Law is just a silly theory, they will release them. If the results are accurate, they won't. They should have stated beforehand whether or not they would be released and the testing should be on camera with a third party witness, perhaps someone from an big audit firm, and a rep from both teams also witnessing. Also, they should have been tested in wet conditions which I doubt they were. Basically I don't trust the NFL at all.

Well gee it looks like to me their worried about Patriots being in super bowl and already working on a distraction right before, why else would they release them at that time? I'm pretty sure we're not going to get actual readings we will get nfl slanted ones.

If the Pats win AFC

NFL releases the numbers and shows that Pats/Brady didn't tamper and drop appeal and give Pats back picks and money.

Just to stop the Super Bowl week Goodell questions of deflategate.

Pats lose

Numbers are shown that all balls maintained with in the 12.5-13.5 range no matter what.

With no Patriots distraction can use week to praise Manning all week long.

Will the summary make Brunell cry?

I just...don't...believe what the league has to say. *sniff*

Winner, winner, chicken dinner...

The NFL will have tested all of the balls used in the 1st half of a game after the game is over rather than at halftime like in the AFCCG so as to allow the pressure to get back to normal. So they will be telling the truth when they say that they found no irregularities during any cold games, but they will fail to mention that the measurement process was rigged.

To state the obvious, they don't have data from our game so it's all meaningless. They have no starting point for each ball, and claim to not know which gauge is used. So even if their data shows the balls deflated this year they can easily claim it was to a lower extent than the Patriots' balls did. It's all bullsh!t.

What a joke. How convenient to "release" the findings as the Pats approach a possible SB run. Even the average non Pats fan can see thru this BS. This will blow up in their face. And No, they won't release any info to exonerate the Pats. And let me guess, it was an "independent" team that did the testing. F' them

What they release will be useless. The numbers they release will not show the effects of weather rather it will simply show what they measured after the footballs warmed back up to original inflation temps.

Half the fans still believe the world is flat and the earth is the center of the universe anyways.

(EDIT: For fans of other teams. The world is round and the earth is not the center of the universe. Please see Eratosthenes and Copernicus.)
