if we cant stop the run, we are finished. We dont play well in Denver and the whole world want Manning to get another ring. This one will be difficult.

No ****..I agree...I have tickets to the game if I want, but I have anger issues and those fans suck so Ill stay home.

Buddy of mine is a Steelers and the entire game yesterday some trailer trash lady was hanging her pom poms in his face so he couldn't see the game...Id be in jail, he's too nice. He asked politely asked her a few times to stop but she wouldnt...Id have dropped her.

We share that in common for sure. Some people say I take the game to seriously BUT in the same sense I would never get in some ones face like that because I have respect for opposing fans. I'd have dropped her ass too.

well, not sure how you ignore what is actually being said when it is mostly during replays

I wouldn't say I ignore it, I guess I just don't really focus on it like I do what is actually going on in the game. Its like someone that is talking near you and you hear them and pay attention to some words but you aren't actually taking in everything they say as if you were having a one on one conversation with them.

So far, Belichick doesn't have to look too hard to find the articles that promote the disrespect factor.

Apparently his team can't ever win in Denver. They lost earlier this season and they should be "afraid" to come play there again....

I'd set one of those articles down on every chair in the locker room.

Well the good thing is if Denver does win we can see them get taken apart again in the SB because they wont win it.

I think ware back will be significant from the nov game , and ward went out early the game.

brady will get the ball out before those guys can get there. Just like he did with KC and Buffalo, and the Jets and Seattle...etc. etc.

First play of the game -- Gronk needs to shove his ass to the ground. :)

You need to cut that down by about 3,000 words, you are taking up patfankens bandwidth.
Funny comment, but I'd like to welcome this thoughtful new poster, even if he is a long time lurker. Please continue to provide your opinions.

The Harris injury is so big. He couldn't cover Edelman anyway, but now if Denver puts him on Amendola or Martin it may be a plus matchup.

Sammie Coates managed 61 yards on him on a few snaps. He had 1 reception the entire regular season.

And if they decide he's too compromised and can't play midway through the game, Webster sucks at CB.

Brady could really torch them if we give him time. Can't wait.

Sup, he has one TD in his last 23 drives in the playoffs and he was the worst starting QB in football this season with almost twice as many interceptions as TDs. Manning doesn't scare me in the least. I don't bet but I would on this game.

I'm not discounting the fact that he's obviously much different, but Roethlisberger recently went through a similar type of streak, just this postseason.

There was also the fact that the Steelers hadn't scored a TD in the first quarter of 4 straight playoff games, but you can't claim that Roethlisberger isn't capable of getting the job done.

Manning still has strengths that allow him to compete. They just don't lie in his ability to throw the ball downfield any longer, which was my point.

Personally, I think based on both the pats and KC performance as well as the health of each squad (particularly the decline in manning) we win this game. On face value I was very optimistic and thought there would be no tough challenge. But i think people discount the fact we are the away team and denver is a tough place to go to. On top of that, its denver always brings it when they play us, sort of like baltimore, it wouldnt matter if we were 10-0 and they were 0-10 it would always be a competitive match.

I still believe we will win, manning not being able to throw outside the numbers gives out CB a huge confidence boost.

There are 3 things regarding this game that I'm worried about.

1. Injuries to our key players early in the game. Ward and Talib will try to take out Gronk or Edelman early in the game if they are getting huge gains.
2. Biased Officiating.
3. Fluke turnovers like muffed punt or deflected interception and such.

If these 3 things don't happen, I see a comfortable victory.

I'm so nervous. It's just a game, and a loss is a loss but I just can't bare to hear the IDIOTS at my job talking **** about my team, or even worse the dumb ass announcers and media sucking Peyton off the entire game. And the stupid Bronco fans.

Just heard from ESPN: "Isn't the headline story for this game that Peyton Manning has the chance to go to the Super Bowl yet again?"

And really, I've been home all day for MLK day and I've been listening, and there is about 85% of coverage of how great Manning is, 8% how bad Manning played, and maybe 5% about Tom Brady's play, and 2% Marshall Faulk nonsense.

Agree with point 1. Low tackling served the Broncos well in the first game. No reason to believe they won't try it again.

The run, the run, the run. IMO, we need to do a better job of stuffing the run. Really, that's one of the few things that concerns me.

Playing well in the trenches will win this game for us. That includes stopping the run, pressuring Manning, getting our run game going (to some extent), and keeping #12 upright.

Let them all talk.

Another victory on Sunday will force them to focus on Brady, and more importantly, far away from Manning.
