The last 2 times we've seen Peyton in the playoffs he's eliminated us

We were even more depleted on offense last November than we were in 2013....

That's definitely true. However, it was still within the last few months, as opposed to 2 seasons ago. That's why I think it's a little more relevant.

Peyton Manning 2006; 31TD 9INT 101.0 Rating
Peyton Manning 2013: 55TD 10INT 115.1 Rating
Peyton Manning 2015: 9TD 17INT 67.9 Rating.

Anymore questions?

The 2006 game was 9 years ago and we had 1 offensive weapon (Edelman) and a pretty depleted/never that good in the first place defense in 2013. I'm much more worried about the fact that we lost in Denver last November.

Yeah, that Edelman guy was one hell of a weapon for us in 2006..................

That horrific 2006 AFCCG *shudders*, and the 2013 AFCCG

It's time to smash Horse Face. It's time to shut up the idiotic Bronco fans, the doubters, the refs, the media, and end Horse Face's career, and hear the announcers cry while the Patriots go back to the SB looking for their 2nd Lombardi trophy in a row!

Let's go Pats!

2006 and 2013 Manning vs. 2015 manning?

In the meantime, what's the more relevant fact:

Mark Daniels @MarkDanielsPJ
Including playoffs, Tom Brady is 4-0 against the Broncos with Gronk and Julian Edelman in the lineup together. He is 2-7 without them.

2006 was horseshit (no pun intended). Caldwell got mugged in the end zone. And the faceguarding on Hobbs to gift them a touchdown.

That was the worst, most one sided game of officiating that I can ever remember.. they served Manning's first and only SB win up on a silver platter

3rd time is a charm. I think we will win and should be pretty decisive. It's time for a Peyton Manning beatdown just like back when we had Bruschi and Law.

The media seems to ignore that this is not the same peyton manning. defensively, they should be able to scheme to stop that offense....KC had a better offense because alex smith could throw more than 5 yards and could scramble.

I would contend they would have a harder time scheming with osweiller because he allows them to run the read option and has scrambling abilities and doesnt have a noodle arm. that really lightens up what we can do with our front seven having to play contain.

with manning though, they can pin their ears back and get after the passer and the RB.

on offense we just have to score TDs and not do like the steelers did and let them hang around. because if you get a 2 score lead on Denver, manning is not coming back. put this into perspective. they lead the team on ONE TOUCHDOWN DRIVE the whole game due to a fumble that put them in good position. and that was with the steelers letting Denver have good field position most of the game.

Kubiak is damned if he does and damned if he doesn't with that QB situation this week, ain't he? :p:p:p

Osweiler is 100% the better choice to play.

But, oh the HELL Kubiak would have endure for the rest of his life from the league office and most of the Corporate World if he were to pull away from Manning this week!!!!!!

I could see the "big interests" going Colombia drug cartel on him.

As part of the small minority who thought we were better off facing Denver in Denver than the Steelers in Foxboro, I feel about as good as I could possibly feel (i.e., just a very little bit "good") about Sunday's game, given that it is in Denver.

KC was supposed to have the best pass rush in the League and the only time they really hit Brady, they got flagged for 15. So, my biggest worry going into the game was mitigated.

The gap between Brady and Manning on the field is now truly significant...Manning is still dangerous and he only has to make one play to win the game, but I think the scales are now tipped in a major way to TB.

Edelman, Gronk and Amendola all looked to be in early season form yesterday.

I liked the way Jackson pounded the middle. He's going to make a big play at some point, either next week or three weeks from now...the one play for which they picked him up.

Manning has now played about six quarters without throwing a pick...he is way overdue for at least two.

All in all...I feel cautiously "good."

But . . . refs.

Didn't misread it at all.

You should learn how to use a comma.

Why is making someone look stupid on the internet so important to you?

I didn't "purposely misread" your post. You made a very common mistake that changed the meaning of what you, evidently, were trying to say.

Not trying to be a garammar Nazi - - just thought you were conveying something completely different.

Nobody is a bad guy here, bud. Calm down and have a soda pop.

You clearly knew what I meant. There's hundreds of grammatically incorrect posts here every day. Why antagonize?

2013 not so bad.
2006 is one of the 4 worst losses in Patriots history, and I would not argue with anyone that ranked it #1. While losing a Super Bowl is positively nauseating, getting the refs involved in the final decision is vomitous. So, as crazy as it is, this is how I rank the losses from worst being first.

#1. 2012 Super Bowl vs. Giants: A Super Bowl loss and the inexplicable safety call that ruined the first 20 minutes of the game for the Patriots.

#2. 2006 AFCCG vs. Colts: OPI against Troy Brown cost Patriots in 1st half, rape of Reche Caldwell and no call, ridiculous PI against Hobbs who didn't even touch WR. Key play in a game that should have been all Pats.

#3. 1976 Division rd. vs. Raiders. Roughing call on Stabler. Totally bogus. Gave the Raiders extra down to win game at very end. Raiders were invincible that year--except against Patriots.

#4. 2007 Super Bowl vs. Giants: Giants outplayed the Patriots. What makes this painful is 18-0 and Spygate.

I'm terribly sorry for upsetting you today, Elijah.

Enjoy the AFCCG.
