That Brady/Vinatieri stat

Right now, Tom Brady and Adam Vinatieri are tied for the number of career playoff games played. Next Sunday, Brady will have a lead of one over Vinatieri.

When Vinatieri left the Pats to go to the Colts, he had a lead of six.

My point was that the Pats will end this postseason with 7 or 8 more postseason appearances than the Colts have had over the time since Vinatieri left here.

I have a strange feeling that the Brady 6 will have a completely different meaning in a few years.

I wonder who will retire first, Brady or vinatieri?

I'm still bitter over him going to the Colts, still leaves a very bad taste in my mouth.

But I wouldn't swap Gostkowski for Vinatieri anyway so....

Also, he's been to the SB twice with the Colts... one ring, one loss (Saints).

Odds are Vinatieri will have a longer career. Although with the newer rules for roughing the passer...

How many years do people think Vinatieri has left? He's 43 at the moment.

It's amazing that if Vinatieri misses that snow kick (which was a ridiculous feat), he's basically, IDK, Jason Hanson? Instead he's a legend who many people think should be in the HOF. Crazy.

This is not a knock on Vinatieri, hope it doesn't come across that way. Just marveling at what one moment can do for one's legacy.

in a way Vinatieri helped make Brady. His clutch kicks ; snow bowl, SB36 and SB38 helped establish Brady's legacy. Just think where Brady would be if Billy Cundiff was the kicker

AV was amazing and great and the snow kick was the best kick ever.

Now on SB 38 Brady established his own legacy. I get when you make the final kick other things get forgotten but AV misses a FG and has one blocked in the first half of that game. But Brady won that game for the Pats.
