Some Pats fan got up in their face and was telling them get to get out of the stadium. He ended up punching one of the cheifs family members in the face and started a 15 person brawl. 01 ~ I lack Processing Speed, but I've got plenty of Core Power.

02 ~ Were I that Pats Fan, I would've embraced Death before submitting to that.

03 ~ Launching from my Seat, I could've quite easily drove my right palm ~ or my left, if my right had Custody of a Fizzy Lifting Drink ~ through that Coward's chin...knocking him out.

04 ~ I don't pretend to be courageous, but Physics are actually pretty simple. One need only apply them.

05 ~ Aggression is generally fleeting. I feel quite confident that, had I Taken Out Vermin #1, stepped over his prostrate body, and asked Vermin #2 and 3 how they felt about things and what they would like to do at that point, their Responses would've been far more mild and sociable than they'd previously represented.

Your pugilistic prose is positively pretentious!

Anecdotes prove nothing but props to MIA fans in 2000. Pats Mailing List crew went to Miami for a game. Drew at QB. We were beaten like dogs. Way up on the 3rd level, an ex-hockey enforcer Pats fan buddy of mine in his late 40s was sitting at the end of our row. 5 rows down a young drunken 20 something Phins fan somehow got into a battle of witty barbs with my friend who despite hockey was a smart guy.
Kid finally loses it and comes up after my guy. Before I'm outa my seat a ways away they're into it. Kid is a bloody mess. I get between them and call for some really big young Phins fans across the aisle to help out. They did. Not a scratch on my guy but the kid was bloody and ruined my Pats Training Camp shirt. Cops come and despite ALL the surrounding Miami fans saying the kid started it they both get thrown out. On the way out the kid tries to sucker punch my friend. Goes to jail while my friend waited in the parking lot for us.

This is the part of sports that I absolutely can't stand. I've never been one to take credit for other's accomplishments. Do I root for and love the fact that the patriots are pretty much the gold standard in sports now? Absolutely.

Would I ever harass or physically assault someone because they happen to root for another team, or think I'm better than them because of the greatness of the Patriots? Absolutely not.

The fact that some "people", pats fans included, think this is acceptable behavior makes me sick and is just another in the infinite list of despicable examples showing how far, we as a race, truly have to go.. Just disgusting what some sports fans feel they can do/say..

I'd be willing to bet it was section 121 or 120. I was in 109 and late in the game, I saw a phalanx of orange jackets descend on this area. I couldn't see what happened after they arrived (there's a game to watch!) but I figured it must've been bad for that many guards to flood such a small area.

Due to where I live, and availability to tickets, I would go to Metlife to watch the Pats play the Rats. But the BS of traffic, drunk fans (trust me, Jest fans are up there) and prices, it just lost it's luster for me. Always having to watch your back from idiots who just lost to the Pats (again) was getting old. I don't miss being at a visiting teams venue. People are getting much more violent. Especially if your a fan of a perennial winner.

Visited their forum a few times. They're an entertaining bunch but have a severe case of little d*** syndrome. Hope they win one soon as long as it doesn't come at our expense.

WTF is so lame and pitiful with somebody's own life that they have to act like that at a recreational sporting event?. If your life is that empty that you live vicariously through your over paid football hero's life, than you need to take a serious look at your own life choices. It's just crazy. I get worked up watching football, but jeez Louise, I don't want to hurt anybody, verbally or physically. ...But I will protect myself if attacked, verbally or physically.

There is a great deal of mob mentality involved. People feel empowered because of the mob and also behave in ways they never would in other settings.
