So why do most of us dislike Peyton Manning?

It's weird. I don't have a legit answer on why I don't like him. And it's funny because Brady and Peyton are pretty good friends, and Brady looks up to him

Because people constantly compare him to my favorite QB when there really isn't a legitimate comparison to be had.

Brady is nearly the unquestioned greatest of all time with 4 rings, tied most ever, to back it up.

Manning has 1 super bowl against the Bears.

Brady is better than him but for years people were trying to say he's better. So I don't hate him per se, but I definitely hate his bandwagon.

it's the whole manning family Archie orchestrating elI ending up with the Giants I refer to them as Goober 1 and Goober 2

all of the media attention. nobody ever points out that he's the greatest choke artist in the history of football. his 1 SB was against rex ****ing grossman. that postseason, he threw 3 td's and 7 picks. lol

no idea how anyone says forehead is better than joe montana let alone the GOAT, tb12

..because he's beaten the Patriots.

I want him to go away.

I dislike that people try to claim he's on Brady's level, and I love seeing that proven false on the biggest stages.

I think that the media overall has always put him above Brady. And they definately seem to like him more as evidenced by how each has been treated during their controversies. I find it frustrating and take it out on Manning.

He is the anti-Brady... Stat chasing.. sucks in the playoffs.. etc. Treats Super Bowls like they are Pro Bowls, and Pro Bowls like they are Super Bowls.. etc

PS. ****ing choreographs fake TD record celebrations with his teammates to look spontaneous.

The media exalts him to a master strategist by claiming he is competing with Belichick as some super QB-coach (can any other QB in the NFL claim this lofty status?). He is a QB. I believe his teams have had coordinators, with apparently vaguely defined roles.

And for the record, I do not dislike him personally. He is a great QB. I just cannot stand the media fawning over his every move.

And you know that was done so they'd be in opposite conferences so Daddy could have his "Manning Bowl".

For me it's because Manning is a hypocrite. Pretends he's a great teammate but has thrown his teammates under the bus multiple times.

I have no problem with Manning....but having the whole thing coined 'Brady vs Manning' is all kinda annoying, Brady, like he did against the giants and the losses to Manning, had his teams up only for our own defense to let him down.

I am one that doesn't think it is close re: Brady/Manning. I do feel for Manning with the nerve thing he has going on. He should have been chowing down on Avacado ice cream instead of loading up on chicken parm...
