Overall, I would say that Denver is kind of similar to Kansas City, except for the fact that Manning is a lot easier to defend than Alex Smith and Denver's secondary is a bit better. All in all, not a harder matchup. Traveling there makes it tougher, but if the Pats take care of their business, should be a win. 60-80%

It helps that manning can't run like Alex smith

This Denver team isn't as good as 2013. And this patriots team is better than 2013. We'll win this game. I hope it's gonna be extra cold and snowing.

Very worried if we let the game be too close. The 4th quarter air and our D will be sucking wind. We need to blow them out like 2004 Season Pitt AFC Championship

Pats are -2.5 on the road for a reason.

Coincidentally, that number would make a great over/under on Manning interceptions.

While the poor performance in Denver has been a problem in the past, I wouldn't stack this Broncos team as a deserving #1 or #2 seed. Their offensive woes almost cost them the game against a dinged up Steelers team and they only got it done after the Steelers had been out there for most of the second half.

If the Patriots can control the time of possession game, that should help to nullify the late game fatigue in the high altitudes. I hope Brady milks the clock longer than usual this game.
Pats need to score, score and score some more. Tons of points is what they need and big leads. I don't care if takes 2 minutes to score just keep scoring. They can go hurry up all game as far as I am concerned.

If it was a fair game, we'd win easily. I hate to say it, more than you know. And I imagine I'm gonna be downvoted worse than I ever have before. But the script was written years ago and dusted off for this year, once it was obvious Manning was on his last legs.

The NFL wants Peyton Manning to win the Superbowl, then ride off into the sunset of retirement. Vince Mcmahon wishes the WWE could fake and orchestrate stuff this convincingly. The league even made a Superbowl 50 commercial featuring Peyton Manning. Brady or any other playoff QB isn't in it. Coincidence? I don't think so. It's going to be pretty awkward having a SB commercial featuring Peyton Manning if Peyton Manning is watching the game from home. The Patriots won't be allowed to disrupt the script.

Now excuse me. I need to buy more tinfoil to reinforce my hat.

And for the record: I'm not being serious.

Early Vegas spread has Pats favored by 2.5.
Carolina favored by 3.

I voted 60-80 because I have no idea if the officials will be calling it one way or fairly.

I think you have a pretty good idea of whether they're going to call it fairly or not.

But if we play the way we're capable of playing, it won't be close enough for the officials to do anything.

And I understand why people are worried. But remember one thing:

We are the DEFENDING SUPER BOWL CHAMPIONS. And they are led by the greatest loser of all time.

Manning put himself above his team numerous times this season while pursuing records. Even if the game plan calls for him to minimize his mistakes, don't be surprised if he goes off-script trying to steal the spotlight.

Brady finds a way to win. Manning finds a way to lose. And a diminished Manning outside in the elements will be even worse.

1 TD in 23 drives and it came off a fumble, they should force Manning to go over them like they did Smith, he can't do it. Brady is going to end his career. I love this match up.

I love the matchup. Final battle of Brady-Manning ends in Denver with a loss at home. It couldn't end with him on the bench watching the backup win.

The media will love this. The second coming of John Elway's swan song. A triumphant Super Bowl run at age 39. Unless the hated Pats show up in Denver, ruin the show, and send him once more to the land of "what might have been." Now that's what I call crashing the party.

To quote Lex Luthor from Superman (at 00:40) "But it just stands to reason when it came time to cash in your chips, this old diseased maniac would be your banker."

I feel really good about next weeks game.
Only team beating the Patriots next week is the Patriots.
They play a clean game they'll win.
Denver had ridiculously good field position all game long today and scored 1 touchdown.

Just think how sweet it will be.........outlaws Brady and Belichick deny the league's golden boy his last shot at the Super Bowl. :D

We may lose, but this is horse ****, pun intended.

Good news for us:

Chris Harris said he wasn't himself. Said moving forward Roby is going to play the majority of the snaps. Said shoulder way worse than Ben's

Can I be honest? I would be more pessimistic if Osweiler were starting. Right now, he's more effective than Manning.

We just witnessed the Bronchioles play into the fourth quarter at home without scoring a touchdown. If they don't score a TD in the first half next week, I'm optimistic.

Even if the league 'rigs' this game in Manning's favor to give him a shot at another ring, there is ABSOLUTELY NO ****ING WAY, they can do enough rigging for this 5hitty *** donkeys team to beat either AZ or CAR.

If they lose, it will be because of a one or more bad calls, some incredibly fluke plays or the game is "fixed." So I think they will win. They are better than Denver. Book it.

See this is where I'm on the fence.

Money wise, do you want a Manning led Broncos team to get annihilated in your 50th Super Bowl?

Or do you want your nemesis to potentially go back to back, but give you a game for the ages?

Knowing the league, they'll take option #1 just to spite the Pats. I have no doubt about that, which means they need to take the refs out of the equation and not let them effect the outcome or give the Broncos gifts, AKA not letting rookies catch punts in the snow or throwing at the end of the game instead of milking the clock.

Pats will build 2 scores lead in first half. Den will close gap and win in 2nd half, with some help from zebras. Hope I am wrong. But I don't see us win games in Denver even healthy.
