Dan Fouts...

Dan Fout is Manning's fan boy. He take a shot's at Brady when ever he gets a chance. I remember him cracking Deflategate jokes earlier on this season.

How do they even pick these guys? Some Joe on the corner can announce better than most of the guys in the booth on sundays

I was really surprised to see that announcing team call the game. Is this CBS' second-best broadcast team? Not a very deep bench.

I don' mind Fouts at all. People here underestimate the difficulty of staying on top of such a fast paced, action packed job. Heck, think of how hard it is to spit out your own insights between plays (nachos and beer) and there ain't several million folks out waiting to bean you for saying something stupid.

And Fouts gets a gold star for sharply pointing out how the refs blew the obvious PI/illegal contact call on Edelman near the goal line late in the game. "I don't know what they are looking at...," he said, or something very close to that.

Fouts just seems so soft.

I loved when Fouts on an 5 yard In pattern to DA on our 30 yard line said TB missed that throw and DA was easily going to score a TD even though he had a man on him and he had to stop on a dime turn up field avoid the tackle and then outsprint the Chiefs secondary who was 20 yards downfield.

I spent 2 years working in a pysch ward at a nursing home.

Listening to dan fouts call a football game is EXACTLY like hanging out with an Alzheimer patient.

I mostly just thought it was weird that he kept thinking every incomplete pass was going to be a pick.

If CBS was gonna use their second best team, they should have got the guys that do the SEC broadcast...Those guys are great!

No one said the job is easy, they said that Fouts sucks at it. If he can't keep up (he can't), then he shouldn't be an announcer. He's the only guy on any of the networks who routinely says indefensibly stupid and objectively wrong things.

If we're going to have all-star refs, they should give us allstar commentators too.

That's one of the huge pluses of actually being at the game instead of watching it on TV. I don't have to listen to all the bull5hit. I can only imagine how unbearable it must have been last night to those who watched it on TV.

I have that problem solved. I put the volume at around 6 and I can't hear what the announcers are saying but I can still hear the noise of the crowd, even though it's quieter. It's the best way to view a game on the boob tube these days.

No one has even close to as many botched calls as Fouts. For every one he gets right he has 10 that seem like he wasn't even watching the game. He says some truly baffling stuff during every game he announces.

Huh? My reaction to a Patriot defender tackling a KC runner before going out of bounds and bringing that player to the ground out of bounds. "Should have been a penalty"..........

It was Hightower he hit Smith as he was going out of bounds. Fouts said he hit him late then they showed the replay and he said oh they were inbounds but then they went out of bounds so it should be a penalty. WHAT?????????? He was inbounds Dan that's all you needed to say.

I shall try this on Sunday.... the thought of listening to Nanz/Simms licking Manning *** hair is already making me nauseous...

Fouts started to remind me of Uncle Rico as they game went on.

Easy TD there... Easy TD there to.... If he hits that throw that is an easy TD. I would have got a TD there if their coach let me play. Say, you think i can throw a football over those mountains?
