I'm not nervous whatsoever. In fact, I'm actually quite calm thinking about our chances in Denver.

The Broncos BARELY beat a Steelers team without Antonio Brown and Deangelo Williams, starting a JAG running back and Roethlisberger playing with an injured throwing arm, at home no less.

If Osweiler were starting, I honestly would be more nervous. But Manning is subtraction by addition. I feared Alex Smith more than I do this version of Peyton Manning.

Stop the run, force Manning to throw deep and this game is ours to control.

Remember, last time we faced them we were missing Edleman, Amendola, Collins and Coleman and Gronk missed the final drive and overtime. They were only missing Ware and Ward only for the second half, who are both important, but by no means do their absences outweigh ours as a collective.

Patriots will win this game.....unless the refs get involved. If it's a clean game, I don't see how we lose.

Weird game time next week, 3:05pm EST.

Also, why does CBS get the game? They get the AFCCG and SuperBowl?

Should be Fox = NFCCG, NBC = AFCCG.
Superbowl is rotated every yr.

Before the game started today, because of the homefield situation, I was rooting for the Steelers, and rooting hard. But then the more I watched, the more it started to dawn on me how bad the Broncos are. Also the Steelers would have gotten Antonio Brown and DeAngelo Williams back next week. So about halfway through the second half I switched and started rooting hard for the Donks. Mission accomplished!

NBC always gets the AFCCG. The Super Bowl rotates between NBC, CBS, and Fox. It is just CBS' year.

EDIT: Meant CBS always gets the AFCCG.

Early line on the game is Patriots -3.0 which means they have the Patriots as 6 points better essentially.

Those numbers can change for sure. I think maybe they'll go out more.
Not a bettor. What does -3 mean? Patriots by 3 or better?

What's ****ing absurd about saying that I couldn't handle another loss like that?

Could you? Would you be happy to lose like that again?

We lost by 10 points with a bunch of nobodies. This is a completely different team, so there's no reason to expect anything other than a win.

Take away the ****in run, make Peyton taste dirt over and over (even if he trips, crush him.), and DO NOT -- DO NOT -- FALL FOR THE STUPID HARD COUNT ****!

Do not ~ Do NOT fall for the stupid HARD COUNT ****!!

What's the weather look like and can we get in Thursday to acclimate to the air.

NBC had the Seahawks/Vikings game though (1:00 pm)

Anyway, not a big deal I guess. I just can't stand Simms/Nantz

Simms/Nantz are a hell of a lot better than freakin Fouts and whoever his partner was. Actually his partner was ok, but Fouts was driving me insane.

Between Denver and a healthier Pittsburgh next week, Denver is definitely the team we should want to face. The only thing that gives pause is having to go to Denver. However, if they play true Patriots football and take care of their business, the refs won't be able to screw them, and they'll be on to Santa Clara.

Crawfish shorts is the better match up. Big Ben with stable of WRs worried me more even though the game would have been home. Crawfish Shorts passes look wobbly and like its taking everything he has to get them to the intended target.

Brady will win in Denver this time.

Denver got into the AFCCG 20 minutes ago and I am already tired of the bellyaching about how the Pats struggle in Denver and we shouldn't want to go there,

First, the Patriots with Belichick and Brady struggling in Denver have been a bit overstated. Yes, they are 2-5 in Denver in the Brady and Belichick era, but one loss was Brady's 5th start of his career and the last loss was when the Pats had about 6 starters out of the game and still lost in overtime.

The Pats are the better team. If they cannot beat Denver in Denver, they don't deserve to go to the Super Bowl. Bring on the Broncos.
Sure but to be fair, broncos arent good enough to come this far either. Today was a micrcosm of their season, they somehow hang around, get some calls, and pull it out. this is how they won 12 games and today.

Patriots should just fly out there now, get used to the altitude.

Awesome. Brady gets to end Manning's career.

Manning already said he wants to play another year. If Denver doesn't pick him up some other tesm will.

The points are irrelevant. Think we even got a garbage time TD.

We got our assess kicked.

We are better than we were then. We're healthier than we were then.

No one, and certainly not me said otherwise.

What I said, was I couldn't handle another loss like that

And I can't.

Make the egregious holding by Matt Paradis so blatantly obvious.
Load the box, play trail and dare noodles to throw up deep balls with a roaming McCourty back there.
Lot's of quick passes, horizontal game will work well against the defense.
