I only fear the thin air of Denver. Most teams look ok in the 1st half there, but they get gassed in the second due to not being used to the lack of oxygen and consequently make mistakes.

The last time we had no running game, little-to-no passing game, did a momentum changing mistake, played without half the offense, lost Hightower and especially Gronkduring the game, and the Broncos had huge help from the refs.

And we lost that game in OT.

I think it's highly unlikely all of the above happens again, and considering we have the entire offense minus Lewis back, we're already in a much better place.

Early line on the game is Patriots -3.0 which means they have the Patriots as 6 points better essentially.

Those numbers can change for sure. I think maybe they'll go out more.

I knew that loss in November would come back to bite us....Oh well!

Bottom line-the 4 best teams in the NFL are left. It's tough for us in Denver but I am convinced we are better than them. As a football fan, I am excited to see another Peyton v TB12 showdown. This is what it's all about. The best vs the best. And please stop with the declarations that Peyton is done. He's still damn good and a likable person. So what if he has a 5head and a noodle arm? This will be fun.

Don't like our chances because GODELL , the league....and Archie WANT Noodle arm to cement his place as GOAT by winning another championship.....Officials will be all over Pats like white on rice.....would have to play perfect football or just plain blow Denver out.......since we all know that it will come down to who has ball last....and the officials will be in the pocket of the Mannings.....it will be EXTREMELY DIFFICULT for Pats to make it back to SB

At the half-way point this season, I had this ahem.. psychic.. tell me that the NFL higher powers really want Panthers-Broncos in the SB. I didn't pay attention to it, but now it's got me a TINY BIT nervous :D

Stop the run on defense , protect Tom decent enough, and we should be fine.

The key is to force Manning to throw out routes. They also have to shut down the run and get pressure on Manning. The big question is how healthy are the Pats on the defensive side? Collins? Hightower? Mayo? Nink?

Can't say I feel good about this game, to be honest. Last time we went into Denver with an injured team it didn't end the way we wanted it to. God damnit.

The team is going to get jobbed hard by the league office and the refs . And the Bronco defense will have license to head hunt and take cheap shots at our players on offense and defense. If we lost to Pitt at home I'd be disappointed, but losing to Goober and the Donkeys again would be absolutely insufferable.

I think I'll be staying away from the media and the forums this week.

Judging from the reactions in this thread, this forum will be unbearable for a week. How can you be that scared of the team you saw play today? If Pittsburgh was halfway competent they would have won by two scores.

Discuss.

The Pats are a much better team and should win handily. But you never know in Denver.
Pats have rarely won HANDILY all year ....never mind having all these injuries...and playing in Denver......going to be yet another heart attack special....going to be extremely tough for pats to beat donks AND the officials
