I think it's a matter of fan bases thinking their **** don't stink. I have to admit, I don't know if I could ever go to an NFL stadium and (openly) root for a visiting team. I don't care what stadium you're in, too many drunken idiots and it only takes one.
That's more than just a few cheering the injury. Completely classless fanbase.
chiefs fans are douches in roughly the same proportion that patsfans are douches in roughly the same proportion that people in the world are douches.

I imagine that there are lots of annoying fans in every fan base, and lots of good ones too.
Every fan base has douches. Ours is no different. I credit the mods and the veteran members of this board for the high level of intercourse and accountability. Without such strong leadership, this board would also end up like just any other. Also it helps we're winning. Will be interesting to see how the post BB and TB era is like on here.

Say what?
KC is a cow town.I don't know why, but I had expected Chiefs fans to be a classier bunch.
And forgot that Andy Reid still has to spoon-feed Alex Smith and can't seem to grasp clock management. Its simple. They bought into the hype. The beat the Pats soundly last year, won 11 in a row, a playoff game by 30 on the road and had read the clippings of how banged up the Pats were.
We're on to Josh and Jimmy G!Also it helps we're winning. Will be interesting to see how the post BB and TB era is like on here.
Were you the Deb that WBZ had a short clip of right after the game?I only saw one KC fan at the game yesterday, which was surprising. Usually there are a few more fans from opposing teams these days, although I guess KC to Foxborough is not that easy a trip. He was sitting on the end of my row and lots of Pats fans were going up to him, shaking his hand and saying "good game," at the end. He was gracious in defeat.
I think the policies and moderating of the board has a lot more to do with the nature of fan boards than does the makeup of the fan base. Not every fan base is cut from the same cloth. An objective comparison of this message board with the Jets boards and the Chiefs board cited here bears that out. Patriots fan culture is a cut above most, and I'm not just being a blind homer saying that. I've traveled as a visiting fan to 14 NFL cities, seen quite a few fan boards. Do obnoxious Pats fans exist? Absolutely. But the overall differences can be quite distinct.
What a bunch of blind, hick yahoos:
Chiefs Screw the obnoxious patriot fans - ChiefsPlanet
Evidently NONE of the upset people remember this:
Just looked it up and his lifetime playoff coaching record is 10-11. Not exactly Marvin Lewis territory but nothing to get excited about. When Andy Reid is your coach, you should just know to never get too confident.
Perhaps, but that's an arbitrary assumption. Prior to the game, a Chiefs fan on the Chiefs board predicted Tom Brady would be "anally raped" by the Chiefs defense. Others chimed in with similar "sentiments." Is that necessarily a moderating issue? But as I said, my personal experience as a visiting fan in other stadiums pretty much has correlated with the "quality" of expression on their message boards. Some fan bases are excellent, Green Bay being a great example.I think the policies and moderating of the board has a lot more to do with the nature of fan boards than does the makeup of the fan base.
