It looked like Gronk's role on that play was to take up space, and use his body to keep people from getting to Martin. It's not something you see very often that far down field, but it there was probably something they saw on tape that they thought would allow them to do it. IMO, it was clever and worth a shot, but I doubt we'll see it very often.

Thanks. I was wondering if on that play Brady could go to either Martin or Gronk by design depending on what happened coverage wise, or if was just a bang bang play that went out way.

That man had the TD on the long run to the right pylon...and when they didnt give it to him...well that spelled the end for KC

If the receivers caught those balls, he would have been in the zone. His poise was impressive. You can tell he really wanted that win.
