...held him to 6 receptions for just 23 yards.

;)

It's been said many a time the last couple years around here but Chung has gone from a big hitter that occasionally impressed but you half-expected to be on the wrong side of a big play (aka Logan Ryan today) to a truly great player

I was more impressed by that one-handed tackle in the backfield. But Chung has been an excellent player for us the past few seasons. And tons of credit to BB and the FO for bringing him back and giving him a chance. They could have said why bother, but they continue to explore any and every avenue to improve the team.

He was miscast early in his career but now is thriving playing closer to the LOS and covering these big, athletic TE's.

Chung was great in both the passing game against Kelce and also in the run game. He has been Patriots best safety this season.

Very solid job today... I loved that shirt tackle.

Chung was excellent. We're lucky to have had a decent crop of players step up.

Chung and Ryan led the team in tackles today with 9 each.
8 of Ryan's were solo and 5 of Chung's were solo.

I am really happy for Pat. Love that guy.

Quack Quack.

I just can't believe how good he's been the second time around. I remember when we all assumed Chung was camp fodder or ST only before 2014. At least I did.

Chung would be a beast in Jiu Jitsu with that grip!

Last year when he was playing well there were some people who were saying..."Revis makes him look better than he is". Don't know what they can say now. He's even better than he was in 2014. Loved the guy since his return.

Chung plays closer to the LOS so him having a good number of tackles is good. For Ryan his tackles number were high partly because he was giving up a lot of catches.
Chung has matured into being an important member for this D on both running and passing plays. Ryan is an important part too who, unfortunately, at first glance had his worst game in quite some time.

And they got him on a cheap extension too

He was my binky in 2009 and I was definitely disappointed to see how his first turn here ended, but he's really come into his own on this team now. I can't say enough good things about his play right now.
