It wasn't a blowout, but NE silences the doubters.

TBH, this game could of been a bigger deficit if the refs caught the OBVIOUS penalty in the endzone, but this game ending in a blowout was not needed. Our Patriots didn't just win, but they won in a convincing fashion which hopefully silences the doubters who doubted us.

Guys, we're onto the AFCCG.

The game was not as close as the score. If it weren't for the brain fart Offensive Series with around 6 minutes to go it would have been much more obvious. Makes me think the last 4 weeks were handled like preseason which the Patriots always do bad at. As soon as I saw Gronk go up the middle I knew that was behind them.

Just so I can get this straight:

If we're closing out a game and we run, run, run and it fails: Josh McDaniels is an idiot.

If we're closing out a game and we pass and it fails: Josh McDaniels is an idiot.

Got it!

2nd and 4, up 14, 630 or so left. On the right side of the 50.

THAT IS NOT WHERE YOU GO 5 WIDE, TWICE. ATLEAST HAVE A BACK NEXT TO BRADY TO KEEP THE GOD DAMN DEFENSE HONEST.

The Pats beat a good team. They didn't put them away, but I never ever felt the game was in doubt. Its amazing to think if the Gronk to Edelman deflection is picked instead or Smith holds on to Edleman's bobble and returns it, it's a different ballgame.

2nd and 4 you run it in the situation we were in.

We won though, irrelevant for me to complain.

This game was extremely refreshing to see......even when the offense wasn't scoring TDs, the plays were there to be made (they were just dropping passes), that was a stark contrast to the last few regular season games in which I wondered how we'd ever score

The game really didn't feel as close as the score indicated.

Okay so I know the Pats have a lot to do with it with how well they play and knowing the situation, playing the defense, knowing the scheme, etc. But why the heck do so many opposing teams make stupid mistakes or bad decisions against us? Is this just confirmation bias and it happens all the time? Or are we really in opposing teams heads? How can you huddle with under 2 mins left needing two touchdowns? It's just like the SB against the eagles. Does Reid not have his players practice a 2 min drill?!?!

Also the final score was a LOT closer than the game really was. The pats could have had back to back drives of 7 but settled for 3s. It really was a blowout.

Great teams find ways to win on a regular basis. The teams we beat just tend to not be great and are exposed when facing great teams. NE just happens to be greater more often than not.

Before the game. How many times has this guy been wrong?

The Patriots said all week it’s not about the opponent it’s about them. They’re right, which is the problem. Too many guys limping cuts their margin of error to zero vs. an opponent that has won 11 straight for reasons beyond good luck

First two series and I felt comfortable that the Pats would win.
Pats drive, steady march down field for TD
Chiefs drive, steady march down field using a lot more plays and time for a field goal.
in the end that was the difference, Chiefs had a lot more offensive plays and a lot more time, 15+ minutes more and they still couldn't put up more points.

That's cause feckin skippy cost us another shot at the AFCCG, and feckin Bill let him. How long is feckin Kraft going to let feckin Bill and feckin Skippy ruin this team???

The man is beyond pathetic. How he is still in his industry defies comprehension. I have never read one of his columns or listened to him on the radio but I despise him.

I had little confidence going into the game, but I agree--two series and I was convinced.
