Tre Jackson is OUT.

I will throw bricks if Higtower doesn't play. We are screwed and in for another treat we saw weeks 16-17 on defense if he's out.

Wow, surprised to hear about Jackson, I never knew he was even injured. So it's Mason and Kline at Guard now with Andrews rotating in at center.
Also surprised to see how many are questionable, it looks like we needed another few weeks to heal all our players.

We need an off-season. Thankfully that'll come in 3 weeks and a day (for the parade).

The starting O line for your NE Patriots tomorrow.
Waddle LT, Mason LG, Stork C, Kline RG, Vollmer RT

I'm sure their will be adjustments as the game goes along based on level of play and where they perceive the pressure will be coming from.

Am I reading the Chiefs injury report correctly? They are going to be without both their starting center and starting right guard? Or are those two OUT players not starters? If so that could be a big loss for them.

Those are both starters that didn't pass concussion protocol.

I would say the best O-Line right now of healthy players from a talent standpoint would be Vollmer-Mason-Andrews-Stork-Waddle. However, the most experienced group would be Vollmer-Mason-Stork-Kline-Cannon... We will see what happens. Can't predict what the team will do.

At this point Ross, I have no idea what group is our best, but it better not be the same group that started in Miami . lol

if cannon is at guard, the pats are doomed. he is ok at T but horrible at G. mason, kline, stork are much better there.
I dont remember him being too terribad when they had him at guard but that was at a time when the line was much more stable

So much for getting healthy over the bye!

It's definitely frustrating, especially since it comes on top of not getting the #1 seed. Seemed like player health + a #2 seed was a fair compromise, as opposed to: the #1 seed + playing for it with banged up players. Instead, now it's basically a double whammy.

Then you look at guys like Gronk/Dola/Ninkovich/McCourty (even Brady) who probably should've been rested for the Miami game, thus giving them nearly 3 weeks off (*19 days) before the playoffs start.

I don't think that's being said in hindsight, either, since I remember several people wishing they'd be rested.

Yeah but aren't they pretty big losses if you lose 2 of your interior linemen with Malcolm Brown seemingly getting better each weak and Akiem Hicks playing well? If those two offensive linemen for the Chiefs don't completely suck, then isn't that a pretty big loss for them; no one seems to really care (which I guess I understand because of all the injuries to the Patriots).

Only question mark is Vollmer. Everyone else I believe, for the most part, is expected to play.

Too bad on Tre. So it's Kline and Shaq and a mix of Stork maybe.

How about Kline and Stork, and a mix of Shaq Mason instead? That sounds much better to me.

Of course, that means that Andrews plays C against Poe and company, so it's possible that you get Mason-Stork-Kline, instead.

Do not underestimate the fact they had a solid 2 weeks for the first time since week 4 to a) recharge the batteries and b) work on things they just flat out didn't have time to for. It could work wonders.

Going back to the beginning of last season, I thought he was an utter catastrophe at guard. Cannon at G is one of the last things I want to see tomorrow, at least.

Yeah, I mostly agree, although I worry about Andrews at C against Poe. I'd feel much better about Stork there, except it's impossible to ignore the fact that the OL has simply been bad when Stork's been at C. I dunno what the solution is.

The beginning of last season is not what I would call a stable o line lol

Poe's supposedly healthy again, after early season issues. If he is, the Patriots don't have any IOL who can handle him one-on-one.
