Yet, our two most important players get injuries going into the playoffs. Plus we don't get HFA. I think its safe to say that plan backfired royally.
I love Bill Belichick. I would never ever want another coach. He has earned enough good will that we could go 5-11 three straight seasons and I wouldn't want anyone else.
But man he F.UCKED UP the management for the end of this season. Whatever he was trying to do he failed miserably.
A playoff game hasn't been played and you're at this conclusion.
Stupidity at patsfans.com........at it's finest.
Considering a playoff game hasn't been played.........how exactly do you arrive at this?
Are you just trying to look like a moron in more than one thread?
For those complaining about Gronk playing vs. Miami, where is the evidence that his injury was aggravated by playing vs. Miami?
It seems more likely that his injury was aggravated sometime last week or this week, in practice.
So... are you going to complain about him practicing?

It has nothing to do with rather or not we win the playoff game. Learn how to read and comprehend before you start talking about stupidity. His plan to not go after HFA aggressively and put health first failed.
Considering our top two key guys got hurt AND we didn't get homefield advantage. Regardless on if we win or not, it doesn't make his plan any less of a fail. If we win it will be despite that, not because of it.
A second round of circular logic isn't going to make you any more intelligent than the first time you tried and failed miserably.
You can't be serious. Winning in the playoffs has everything to do with things.
Nobody at patsfans.com knows the true extent of "injury", healing time, or time frames. At this point of the season........everyone is dinged. All that is available is conflicting reports without context.
Just the idea someone would draw such sweeping conclusions means trying to justify pre-drawn conclusions.
However, you might get lucky as a blind squirrel.
Our top 2 star players became injured....that was supposedly the one thing that he was planning against. What is the big debate? Of course some fans are going to question it.
If you're claiming that it may turn out alright in the end should they move forward in the postseason, you're right, but that would be chalked up much more to the luck of the injuries not being serious, not Bill Belichick's plan.
At any rate, no one here should be arguing against the greatest coach of all-time, so in that regard you're spot on. There are times however, when it's okay to question his decisions, although we really should keep that to a minimum with the proven track record that he has.

Gronk was present and accounted for at the walkthrough today. Mike Florio stated he believes the Pats are way overstating Gronks injuries and he thinks it's all been a game of deception.
Of course this is just Florio drumming up "Pats are cheating" comments.
