Pats D vs KC O

I foresee......the center of the KC Oline....collapsing,....and AS running for his life. I think Hicks is going to have a great game !

Another concern is the "death by a thousand paper cuts" with Smith dinking and dunking and scrambling for first downs all day. Say they coddle that together and have time consuming drives for 20-23 points. Pats gotta get off the field and give the offense good field position.

I'm very, very worried about this game. Morse so than I've been for any divisional game in a long time. This is big time foreign territory for this team. Usually they're clicking on all cylinders and riding a hot streak into the playoffs, but this year they've look like schitt on offense since the NYG game (outside of the Houston game). Recent history is not in the Pats favor, they're not healthy, and they've haven't well against defenses in which Bob Sutton is involved. Plus, I think in a close game the NFL will **** the Patriots.

I just have a hard time seeing this Pats offense drive 80 yards to score. Back in October they couldn't be stopped - heck if they got it at the 5 I was pretty sure they'd at least get 3 out of the drive. These days they're hard pressed to put 3 first downs together.

Inside their 20 I see 2 Steven Jackson runs for 4 yards and a 3rd and 6 pressure & throw into the dirt at a running back's feet - that's been the popular 3d down play the last 6 weeks.

I think our D will shut down that O completely..for the most part. KC will score. But not when it matters most.

Given the rest of your post (chicken little-ism to a T), you're telling me you weren't worried about the game against Baltimore last year? I don't believe it.

I think its as simplistic as depending on turnovers. If we dont turn the ball over on offense and put our D in tough positions, we should have a chance. KC's main weapon is turnovers .
