O/T: Johnny Football Out At Cleveland?

We are so freaking lucky.
Yeah, we're totally in the minds of everybody. Every sports news bit I saw today was either about Gronk, Chandler, black-eyes or how to beat the Patriots!

Ain't life grand?

Im curious to see where rg3 will land, opposite to manziel, i think he still has a chance to be a decent nfl qb

It won't work. He'll just show up to practice in a wig and fake mustache.

I've got to steal this quote, for my friends and family living in Ohio.

If he was only showing that kind of enthusiasm for football ...

When you've been so insanely entitled and spoiled that your own family comes out and warns teams about your demons and hissy fits, it can't be seen as a good thing. I mean, think about that one for a second. His own dad saw this coming from miles away.

His alcoholism and anger management problems, combined with poor decision making and a lack of work ethic pretty much screamed "bust" from day one. The sad thing is that he's probably at least talented enough to be a stable QB2 for someone, but he's got to turn things around and quickly.

Manziel, RGIII and Kaepernick all worry me that if they figure it out they could wind up in Buffalo or with the Jets.. if Manziel has a miraculous "cure" for self imposed idiocy or RGIII & Kaepernick with the right coaching, might be good QB's... in a league that is becoming more and more void of this type of talent, QB reclamation projects might be a chance that some teams will take..

OTOH Manziel could just be another Ryan Leaf.... fade to black.

YOU can tell from the vibe he gave off on the NFL Network interview either last night or a couple nights ago.....he seemed luke warm to Johnny Football....

I was also thinking about that whole Ryan Leaf debacle when I first read the article I referenced. Birds of a feather, them.

Of those three, RGIII is the only one would could really play, once upon a time. Kaepernick is way to inaccurate a passer and Manziel is just sad.

Johnny Football is a hopeless case because of untamed personal demons.
RGIII has the most potential upside and Kaep could do something with an intense experience with an elite passing coach. However, Buffalo now and historically the NY Jests have shown zero ability to develop talent at QB. They instead destroy what remains of any vestige of talent.

I hope RG & Kaep get a shot where there's a decent QB coach. The NYJFL needs QB talent desperately.

Yeah but has Kaep shown ANY inclination to put in the heavy work it would require? Plus, Tyrod is already better than Kaep anyway.

HTF did this guy ever get tagged (want to say earned, but) with the name, "Johnny Football"?

The UT Marketing Department I expect.

How'd that work out? Good for them I guess but not the NYFL!
