Reiss/Schefter: Gronk Got Knee Injection At Hospital Today

KC also beat up. Eventually we will run into a healthier team.

Who is too say that another teams gets hit with the injury bug? Just takes one play...

gonna be gronks first 200 yard game

so let's recap lol

Gronk missed practice today because he tweaked his knee 2 weeks ago
Went to the hospital to get treatment on the knee and maybe a shot (conflicting reports)
But now it's the back that he missed practice for and not the knee, the knee that he was at the hospital getting treatment and possibly a shot for.

Come on people, you have to think there is some chance that someone's having fun with the media.

Clearly a psyop campaign.

So basically our best players all have serious lower extremity injuries. Great read guys! This is exactly the stuff I want to read less than 48 hours from playoffs

I hate how people have this dream that everyone will be at full health on Saturday and we'll roll over KC. It's not gonna happen! Gronk hasn't looked like himself for about a month.

You hate that?

Meanwhile you have teams like the Seahags that are going in healthy 3 seasons in a row.

The Broncos have been remarkably healthy as well

Anyone think he may not play ?

I'm sure that is exactly what the Pats hope KC thinks.
I doubt these things matter. Teams at this stage always prepare to face the best combinations of opponents. Easier to adjust when someone doesnt play rather than someone ends up playing.

So everyone assumes that Maclin will somehow be out 4-6 weeks for his mild HAS, and he gets some light work in.

In comparison, they assume that everyone will be healthy on the Pats and Gronk's at the hospital getting injections and has one limited practice in three days.

Sounds about right.

You read this chicken little/the sky is falling thread and that's what you come up with?

BB probably planted this because patsfans.com isn't happy unless it's mindlessly miserable.

Anyone who thinks this is all a smokescreen are morons. You don't keep your superstar player out the entire week of practice THE WEEK BEFORE A PLAYOFF GAME just to play mindgames. You don't do it. Ever. In fact usually the opposite is done, if someone is injured you have them practice to keep up appearances that everything is perfectly fine. Do I need to remind you about the 2 weeks before Super Bowl 46? Where Gronk wasn't ever in a boot in public and was also participating in practice? The talk was that the injury wasn't that bad. Turned out it was.

Now, could the back injury be some attempt to sow confusion? Maybe. But he's hurt one way or another.

Huh?

Thanks for the "insight" there, Marcus Wellby.
