Reiss/Schefter: Gronk Got Knee Injection At Hospital Today

So everyone assumes that Maclin will somehow be out 4-6 weeks for his mild HAS, and he gets some light work in.

In comparison, they assume that everyone will be healthy on the Pats and Gronk's at the hospital getting injections and has one limited practice in three days.

Sounds about right.

Not at all.

People think if Maclin really has an ankle sprain that he would miss this game or if he plays be hobbled at best.

As for the Pats being healthy, people didn't assume they would be 100% healthy, the thought is they will be healthier overall as a team then they were those last few weeks. The defense will have their 11 starters+Sheard active to start the game for the first time since the Dallas game, think about that for a second.

People are just completely ignoring the Pats defense in this game like they have zero say in how the game goes. No one is talking about what if the Pats defense just balls out Saturday and the Chiefs can't really do anything on offense. All the talk is about how the Chiefs have the defense to stop the Pats like its a foregone conclusion that's what the game will come down to.

You think Gronk has arthritis?
Probably not yet but he has less cushion and lube in there
than non injured people + he's a world class athlete.

Will someone let me know when I can officially panic?
dont officially panic...but go ahead and be ready just in case. This plus Jones is not the way to start the playoff push.

Might be part of a continuous therapy , like all is ok with joint, lets just make sure it stays that way

wtf

doesn't sound good. i wonder what daddy gronk thinks about this?? should of let gronk rest against the fish since we had no 0 chance at winning that game.

thanks bill. im officially worried about kansas city now.

If he misses practice tomorrow ill worry...but as of now no. Seems like bill has been giving him a day of practice, then day off, then practice, then off...probably practice limited tomorrow and then play Saturday

Likely its the same bone bruise that has hampered him since nov 29th

I'm thinking he got the Synvisc ........ otherwise known as chicken cartilage ... good ****.

I doubt they'd do that on a game week. Probably just the good ol' cortizone blast (YEEEEOOOOUUUUCCCCHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!).

Yeah. From what i have read, bone bruises are more of a pain management thing

Unfortunately, Gronk will not have a full career in the NFL.
Congrats TJ Ward, you got what you were hoping for. Is there any doubt that he'll be looking to end Gronk's career if the Pats make it to Denver?

Gronk has made TJ Ward look like a ***** and like a guy who does not belong in the NFL the last two times we played Denver. I wouldn't worry about it.

Either way Gronk will be play & be one of the main reasons New England advances to AFCCG! F*** the he say she say!

Injection or not he will be playing and I am happy.
