My guess ...

Doctors always have to order it for you ... hospitals probably keep it in stock.

You think Gronk has arthritis?

Picture in my mind of Gronk carrying around an alarm clock.........

"I'm ready to go coach. The doctor said I shouldn't do any running for at least 48 hours, but he didn't say 48 hours in a row."

Was Dr. Guyer and Sly present? If so, my confidence Saturday goes through the roof.

Well the KC D is gonna be on that knee like flies on Roger Goodell's personality..

I wonder if he reinjured it in the Miami game. Not really good news at all considering he's had more than a week off and still needs this.

At the risk of exploding Ray Clay's head, what does Dr. Chao have to say about this situation?

One thing I don't like about this is this:

Synvisc (Injection) Uses, Dosage, Side Effects - Drugs.com

The game is just about 48 hours from now.
That information probably makes your "guess", wrong. More likely some kind of cortisone, or anti-inflamitory into an area that needed a hospital setting.

Edit - Sorry Rob, I just re-read the OP and realized it WASN'T your guess, but Ice's.

It seems so unfair that after such a great start and building a championship roster this team is limping into the playoffs flying on fumes. But such is life in the NFL, where it isn't always the best team that wins, but the healthiest. Right now that would be Carolina.

I can only hope we see a game like the Packers/Washington game, where the Packer offense broke out after a rather long absence.

I hate how people have this dream that everyone will be at full health on Saturday and we'll roll over KC. It's not gonna happen! Gronk hasn't looked like himself for about a month.

WTF.... It seems like every year we are heading into the playoffs with a decimated offense. Save for last year

Meanwhile you have teams like the Seahags that are going in healthy 3 seasons in a row.

Brady hurt
Edelman Hurt
Gronk hurt
Offense hobbled

Do you believe in miracles?

Can we do a flipside to this?

Where is all the talk of Tamba Hali not practicing all week and only playing 14 snaps last week and Houston who is clearly hobbled as he kept going in and out of the game last week. I mean those two are pretty big key into all the talk about them having the defense to stop the Pats.

Report coming out of KC is Houston is a game-time decision.

I wouldn't take that as a given. They are not explosive, but their running game and Smith's legs will stress our defense. With Edelman and Gronk hobbled, I'm not sure who on our team is going to worry them.
Pats by 20.
