It's Hue Jackson's turn in the barrel

He had interested teams and intentionally went to Cleveland ??!?

Have to admit, this is the fort time the Browns did a good job hiring a coach in a long time.

The Patriots travel to Cleveland in 2016. Cleveland gets the AFC East and the NFC East. I could see them going 7-9 or 8-8 if they pick the top offensive linemen with the #2 pick and shore up the trenches in every round. And who will be his starting quarterback? They should go all in for RGIII or Ryan Fitzpatrick.

Let's not forget that Hue Jackson had personnel control in Oakland somehow following the wake of Al Davis' death and traded a first and a second for two years of Carson Palmer.

Of course, he probably couldn't do worse than the Browns' current personnel track record.

How can you tell? they fired their last two before they had a chance to do anything

The Browns need a "fixer" someone that has instant credibility and demands respect. Someone who can change the face of the franchise. Much like Parcells did in NE. Jackson is not that, he is yet another little known assistant who is just "glad to get another Head Coaching gig.

Coughlin would have been a great hire, the Browns are so many problems it's not funny, but there #1 problem is leadership. Who runs the team? What is their philosophy? Questions that nobody can answer. Look for the Browns to suck again. Once again they go into the off season with a new coach and looking for their starting QB, which is a recipe for disaster!

If I ran the Browns I would trade away Thomas for a #1 pick, get what you can for Manziel and Gordon, and rebuild their defense first and wait until there is a franchise QB available in the draft/trade instead of wasting yet another first round pick on a reach at QB.
