Foxboro cops: Pats' Chandler Jones sought medical help early Sunday

Ya those are the last 2 assholes that should be doing that. Especially when they've missed countless days of work because of it. Last I knew Jones missed 0 days.
I can't stand D, C and Minidick anymore.. bunch of loud mouth aholes, and yes as mentioned, massive hypocrites.. I either listen to T&R in the morning or my tunes... EEI can rot except for D&H and Mikey (yes they're homers, but I still enjoy them)

Okay while many are running with the class d = marijuana theme ... I'm still thinking it's not that. The police edited out the medical info ... so to me that means they found a legitimate prescription drug ... not pot which may or may not be medical. I think he woke up psychotic in unfamiliar surroundings and panicked. I've woken up myself sometimes like that in my own house and for a few seconds did not know where I was. No shirt and no shoes leads me to believe he was sleeping.

Title 21 CFR - PART 1308 - Section 1308.14 Schedule IV

Zolpidem ... which is Ambien
Tramadol is listed ...
Xanax ...
Valium ...
Ativan ...
Versed ....
Restoril ...
Halcion ....

I can certainly vouch for Ambien to cause all sorts of interesting side effects. It's an excellent med but people have been known to wake up in the grocery store with a cart half full of stuff, out driving around with friends they just met. Stuff like that.

So...he's okay and isn't facing charges. Am I missing something? Why should I be panicking?

I don't think we should be panicking at all, no charges, Patriots seem ok with it because he is practicing. At worst he will be tested and added to the program.

But to be honest, I'm a little disappointed. They have a huge game coming up and is it really necessary to get yourself into such a state a week before. Look, I'm no saint and I think a little weed or couple of beers on a bye weekend aren't a big deal. But shoeless, shirtless confusion stumbling into a police station crosses the line. I realize he is young but I would be lying if I said I didn't lose a bit of respect for the guy.

It's kind of interesting seeing the difference in our (that includes me) attitude over the treatment of this story and some others. I have to admit that I'm a little concerned.

I take Ambien and outside of a few sleep sessions where I attempted er...um to wake my wife at 3 in the morning to which she was not so fond of...unfortunately. I haven't had any big issues with it. Woke up to soon once and was found in the kitchen by my son had a whole conversation and don't recall a thing.

Definitely none of the horror stories heard in the media have happened to me. But it is a savior for a dude with insomnia.

You never know but I'm not buy the weed angle either.

My attitude towards things like this has always been to hold judgment until I know the facts, even with Manning's HGH accusations. What really pisses me off is the unfair coverage which is really just based on how much the public loves or hates the player

it was a bad reaction to expired Thin Mints mixed with avocado ice cream, perhaps combined with trying coffee for the first time
Especially those you eat on the way out of restaurant that have been sitting there since 1995

No.

Everyone outside of the Patriots organization is guilty.

Everyone inside the Patriots organization is innocent.

Get with the program.

:p

hopefully this is nothing and goes away, already not on the front page of PFT.

So, the facts as we know them:
He went to the police confused. No laws were broken.
He was sent to the hospital and was released. No health issues.
No practices were missed.
No league drug tests were failed.

From an NFL point of view, nothing happened.

Unfortunately, with the Patriots, nothing ever really goes away... hell we still hear about taping the Rams on regular basis... ugh, "it is what it is"

lol yea, I guess when I was younger I didn't know any better.

Yeah, a lot of us got suckered in when we were young. You've learned. It's a rite of passage in becoming a mature Boston Sports fan.

Do they still turn into a 100% political show during an election cycle? I want to say it was 2004 when I finally called it quits on EEI. It started with D&C when they turned into political talk radio as the election got near. All the rest fell from there. I even tried Felger when he went off on his own, but it didn't take long to realize he was going to be doing the same crap on a different station.

Maybe once or twice a year I'll tune in to EEI for a few minutes when I'm driving somewhere and I don't have my phone for music, or I can't find something else. Every time it happens its just the same ****. A couple of days ago I listened to about 10 minutes of D&C. The entire 10 minutes was a rant rippin Sandoval and Ramirez for reporting to spring training out of shape (yes, ripping them for something that hasn't even happened yet!). It was just painful to listen to. This during a Patriots playoff week. College football NC just happened. Celtics and Bruins are playing. Spring training is still over a month away, and they're talking Red Sox. You have just got to be kidding.

My Dad was taking ambient about 10 yrs ago. He went nuts. Drove to my house in a phscotic rage, ran out of my house, jumped in his car. He drove like a maniac and hit a telephone pole. It's was one of the scariest things I've ever witnessed. He was a totally different person. That stuff is BAD news.!

Lmao. The morning show spend half their time on psychiatrists couches and whether or not one of themis on or off his meds is a regular topic.
