Nope you actually have to test positive for it and four game is not for the first offense

It takes four offenses to be suspended under the substance abuse policy now. Substance abuse program after the first, then fines after two and three.

My guess,

He maybe took a couple Ambein, got messed up and walked to the police station. That is the type of behavior I could easily see from someone who took Ambient and did not go directly to bed.

Probably cops came by to lock his door and saw (or smelled) weed.

It "appears" Jones was not charged with anything.

Story is a bit troubling. Hoping for Jones that his safety is not at risk. Season has gone from smooth sail to choppy waters real fast. Let's hope things are ok since he's been at practice.

Is it possible he wasn't in Florida? In fact, it's more probable than not he wasn't. I don't believe him

That's what I am saying ... it explains the psychotic to me.
I took it for a bit and woke up confused a few times ... my wife said I was speaking in tongues.

Sounds more like a bad mix of pain pills and whatever else with a bad reaction not a true overdose.

I can think of many kinds of distractions that would be worse.

Jones practicing puts the distraction largely to bed. They probably have bigger distractions worrying about who of the walking wounded or recently poor-performing will or won't do their jobs well this weekend.

I am going to guess that Bill and Pats security knew about this the minute he stepped into the police station or even before.

If anyone Remembers phenobarbitol is a pain med that Michael Jackson overdosed and died on.

Players say 50-60% of them smoke weed ... unverified of course.

Yup. Same sort of stuff for me. Police station is a half a mile from my house. If I was awake and realized I took 2 ambient, I could see myself all dazed and confused walking to the station speaking gibberish
