Foxboro cops: Pats' Chandler Jones sought medical help early Sunday

The tweet from PigskinSnitches is also inconsistent with this detail, so I think we can totally dismiss it:

Another officer was dispatched to Jones’ home, which is only about a block from the police station, to “secure the residence,” according to the dispatch report.

Sounds like a fight broke out

This reminds me of the Randy Moss/Playoffs 07 story with the timing and vagueness.

Huh. This did pop up yesterday but I assume it's not true given that he was at the last two practices.
Please god I hope hes not hanging out with his brother....

That dreaded 4 hour erection ...........

What the hell is going on?

Gronk missing from practice, Belichick with a black eye, Chandler Jones to the hospital
Should be easy enough to figure out: Jones and Gronk apparently got into a big fight and BB caught a haymaker trying to break it up. Jones was uncontrollably upset and admitted himself for psychiatric evaluation. Gronk was sent home.

A cocaine overdose you are not getting released in the same day. Physically, mentally or legally. Look how long Lamar Odom was in the hospital. And no way in hell would he be physically ready to practice.

It's no big deal, guys.

Companies have made huge breakthroughs in the prosthetic industry. He has long body, so alloy rods and blades won't effect him as much as most defensive ends; just look at what Pistorius did (well, not that). Sure, the kitchen spatula-like arms will effect his play to some degree, but QBs are going to fear getting whacked by those things.

Our pass rush will be fine. It's the postseason; everyone is banged up and sore.

This sucks, I saw that tweet about the OD yesterday and was pretty sure it seemed like BS. Now that this has come out I hope that doesn't lend credence to the story. We know how that can go all too well.

Keep working backwards like that (making facts to fit the conditions) and you might make a worthy football Commissioner.

/Any characterization to a loathesome creatures was entirely unintentional. just poking some good fun at you. :D

Lamar Odom was in a much more severe case than just a cocaine overdose.
Mentally? Yes, you can.
Physically? You'll be shaken up and weak. Worse depending on the severity. But often it is just a fear of an overdose and not an actual overdose, which would be likely in this case.

Legally? It was a medical call. Legally they can't do anything unless he was found with cocaine. You can tell your doctor you did drugs without getting in trouble.
