I don't get that. They didn't claim him last week, and the Pats didn't play him this week. Why are they interested now? Did the Rams lose someone to IR this week? Does the fact that the Pats wanted him make him desirable now? Oh well.

Their #1 and #2 CB Trumaine Johnson and Janoris Jenkins are FA. So that may play a slight part. Not that they expect Hill to replace either but Hill could be basically a minimal contract upgrade over their #3 or #4 they currently have.

But given that Hill is signed thru '18 they now have the luxury of only having to have him on the 53 for 1 week and then rosters expand to 90 in the off-season so they can bring Hill into OTAs and training camp and let him get a full pre-season in with them before deciding to cut him or keep him.

I saw a report that the Seahawks liked him in the 3rd/4th round value but he didn't get drafted because of a torn ACL. I've also seen some highlights of punt returns from him. Has some very quick feet and quickness to him. Impressive for a 6'2" guy.

I thought the rams signed him?

Contract expired and we nabbed him. Let's hope we see neither hide nor hair of him till training camp.

Id like to see him make plays with us like the kid.
Let him get Healthy maybe we have a Eric Decker clone there.

It was ACL tear and off the fields issues according to Drew Boylhart. He also thinks that JJ Worton is similar to Jordy Nelson.
