He was unconscious. Looks at the replay and I think it's clear. I find it strange that anyone would think he was faking.
Adam Jones: Antonio Brown flopped on pivotal play that cost Bengals big - CBSSports.com
To me it looked like he was knocked unconscious on impact and his body went limp, which is the reason it looks unnatural. His limbs and neck are no longer under control of his brain, which has switched off.well.....it appeared so, but color me a skeptic.....I'm no Burfict fan, but watch the replay......Browns arms move unnaturally after he is hit ... the movements appear embellished
Burfict deserved the flag, but I would not put it past Brown to serve up some acting......perfect moment if you're screwed unless you can get 15 yards and stop the clock

We'll feel much better to discuss this topic AFTER the victory over KC on next Saturday.
You lost me with the comment about Big Ben being a "warrior," though. I was actually trying to figure out how many times I've watched him get carted off only to see him return in the same game. It's seriously been multiple times. One time in CLE he got taken away in an ambulance only to play again the next game. The dude's the biggest drama queen in the entire NFL, possibly in NFL history. He's 6'5" and clearly pushing 260-270 lbs, and still can't take anything of a hit to any part of his body.
He reminds me of a WWF character. He's all show, and some people actually fall for it. The funny thing is that it's popular to believe that Ben is some kind of tough guy while Brady is some kind of wimp, while their injury histories and games missed show that it couldn't possibly be any further from the truth. People believe what they want to believe, though.
I have no problem "looking ahead" as a fan, whose actions have zero impact on the outcome, -- as long as BB and the patriots keep focus short-term, makes absolutely no difference if we look past KC.
I do always find it funny when posters imagine their speculation has any effect on the team at all. I suspect it's just a heavy dose of superstition, but it is notable that particular fans take the rhetoric that the team uses and applies it to themselves, some schlub on a couch who has absolutely zero impact on the outcome. I suppose acknowledging that we don't have any impact on the outcome is a hard truth for some.
Steelers defense should sit on everything short. Make the goober throw a pass beyond 15 yards.
Pittsburgh Steelers receiver Antonio Brown will be day-to-day as the Steelers monitor him. Two days after taking a vicious helmet shot from Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict, Brown is still in the concussion protocol. When he's cleared is still uncertain, but the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports Brown's status is not considered serious.
