OT: Manziel in the news again

He also showed up drunk for practice last week, as the word "inebriated" was used to describe him.

My wife is a Cowboys fan, and she cringes at the thought of adding him to their roster--rightfully so.

He is a prime example of a rich, entitled brat who doesn't have a clue how to carry himself.

I'm not so hung up on the licence plates. I had an inspection sticker lapse a few weeks once.

The difference here is that I'm not an alcoholic with mental issues (at least not yet :p)

Two faced individual. He speaks so well, knows the right things to say. Thinks he has all bases covered with his lies. I was reluctant to write him off, but I have seen enough now. He has never sat to watch film growing up, never did at A&M. Never completely knew the whole offense.
He needed a team that could provide stalkers on his ass. The cost to keep him inline and operate at NFL QB's dedication level is too much for the Browns or Pettine to handle. The Pats can but don't have room for him. Jerry can try.

I'll be honest here.

I can tell you what I did with my Private E2 $300 US Army check twice a month. Partied and chased women. Most guys did but there were a few that just could not control it. Add money and fame to the picture and it must be a tough cycle to break.

On the other hand we hear and see how Brady prepares himself for a season/game and his teammates follow that lead or lead with him. How does JM think his teammates feel knowing that he is not putting everything into what it takes to compete with the likes of Brady? You're not going anywhere on just talent alone.

Great post, Tony. I find the Patriot work ethic inspiring... and Brady's in particular. Not that I achieve it... but better to shoot high.

I am so happy to see the demise of this prima donna POS douchebag.

My wife is a Cowboys fan,
So in other words, she spends all night and day wishing/thinking it was the mid-90's. Hope it doesn't hurt the relationship. :D

Self absorbed kid that needs an offense designed around his football skillset............. unfortunately for Johnny Football he needs to find a new career.

I would love to sh*t on this kid and I admit to loving all this negative press after SO much hype. But, if I think about myself at his age he seems like a Rhodes Scholar.

Somebody please tell me how this guy got picked in the 1st round? I don't need any explanation why he was the highest rated player available when it was "Jerrah" time to pick.

reminds you of that affluenza kid that's in the news. manziel is a spoiled brat who's also a terrible qb.

trainwreck!

Manziel is the modern day Todd Marinovich.

Manziel is the modern day Todd Marinovich.

Marinovich was a father driven casualty of the California athlete mill. He had great size, with model good looks, a great arm and some charisma.

Manziel is an Alfred E. Neuman looking, short little punk rich kid that no one ever said no to.

Marinovich I can empathize with a little bit. Manziel I just wanna punch in the face on sight.
