Hoard (as in "horde") might be an appropriate way to describe the anti-McDaniels lobby on this forum sometimes, particularly on game day.

I dont have the data but I would assume that a lot of those people were hating similarly on Boyer in 2011 and 2012.

"Report" is McDaniels want the the Titans job.

Now I say "report" because it comes from espn.

Would love to see what Josh could do with Marcus. Marcus would be a nice fit with the Josh's O(Pats O).

If Josh's offensive preferences are mobile QBs like Tebow and Mariota, it makes you wonder how much of his preferred offensive scheme he's put in his back pocket with having Brady.

Think McDaniels is a good fit in Tennessee. He can get the best out of Mariota and he has a couple good WRs there too, and I don't get the impression that they would dump him too quick.

Huh?

obviously Marcus has wheels. But really his best skills as a QB are his quick release and his accuracy on short and intermediate passes. Which I think marry's up well with what Josh does. Was not really thinking about running.

Mariota is more Wilson than Tebow though.

Dont think the mobility is Mariotas best trait but his calm. Give him some time and once the game starts to slow down for him he could be great.

Fine a qb Mariota is. Bright future he has.

Josh McDaniels to #Buccaneers just became a legit possibility. Young QB, familiarity w/ the GM Licht, some young talent. Something to watch

Im going to be really happy/sad if they both get HC jobs and ride off into the sunset after a Superbowl win like Weis and Crennel did.

That would be freaky. History totally repeating itself. Coordinators leave and NEP go back to back again.

Correct. The forum hated McDaniels in 2007 (believe it or not) and 2008 too. They clamored for him back in 2009 when O'Brien took over the job. People hated Patricia too for the same reasons until the Pats got the horses to run the defense he and Belichick wanted them to. That "horses" comment rings true for McDaniels. Hard to produce a potent offense when your quality skill position players miss multiple games and are banged up and you have an offensive line that can't pass for a DII college OL. But yes, let's pile on the coordinators and show everyone how much we don't know. Sounds like a gas.

Honestly, that Tampa job is a dream job for most Coaches. For starters, before you even get into the their roster and salary situation, it's down in a sunny Florida with a good facility. They have a very talented offensive roster with Winston who looks like he is going to be a stud (better then Marcus Mariota IMO) Evans who's a franchise player, and Kenny Bell who they drafted last year but had injury issues this season. Lets not forget Doug Martin and 33 million in Salary cap space before the projected 10 million increase (so 44 million)

On D they have a decent roster, and I think thats why Lovie was fired. All to go along with a the 9 Pick in the draft. Thats an awesome HC opportunity.

Bring in an Eric Weddle, Eric Berry, or Sean Smith, and draft a few young defensive studs and you got a team that has a lot of potential.

I signed a contract with the Bucs and I all got was a tshirt and MRSA.

On a serious note it looks like a nice destination with a division that doesn't have a real powerhouse. But then again you'd have to deal with the Glazers as owners. Unpredictable bunch.
