best case, manning plays so so at best, but denver wins in a low scoring game. They start the forehead again against the pats and he implodes

They beat them last time in denver which was a surprise with those 4-5 picks . I find it hard they will beat them again on the road .Chiefs always flatter to deceive vs broncos. Last game was an anomaly I think. They might be the hottest team but they are barely winning comfortably.
I think full strength NE is the only team which can go in and beat denver in denver.

You don't think the Steelers could do it? I think their exploits are being way overblown both on the board and in the media, but they certainly present problems for the Broncos defense and Ben has won there before in the playoffs.

Yes. It's cold outside and Manning was putrid even when it wasn't. The Broncos basically just chose to start Bledsoe over Brady in the playoffs. What an idiotic decision, totally driven by a coach bowing to media narrative instead of making the decision that puts his team in the best place to win.

Say wha? Osweiler = Brady in his first year? No. Osweiler is not a cool cucumber, and his INTs are un-Bradylike.

It's a good thing I haven't had lunch yet...

They can.Iam not as bullish as everyone seems to think. And they have played once , which helps a team adjust. But playing at mile high and winning is not easy .Steelers lost to a Tebow team of all ! Plus time and again, steelers when crowned ,only end up losing to teams like baltimore. Even to denver they were down 14 at the first half at home.

KC @ Denver I already know how it will end. That 4 pick game was an anomaly even for Peyton standards.
With the kinda luck the broncos are having, they might end up facing houston.

I would give KC the best shot at winning in Denver. Even though it is a revenge game for them. This scenario probably will happen. Peyton's worst game of the season came against KC and he was benched. If he wins the mediots can go on and on about his redemption etc. Then sets up Brady/Manning AFCCG. They didn't get it last year so they will make sure it happens this season.

I can just see an Andy Reid clock snafu losing the game for the Chefs.

If Manning used PED in the past to recover from injury...who's to say he didn't this time around as well.

If that's the case...then he may have that arm strength back and we may see the Manning of old.

Yea but think about this. in 269 career NFL starts, Manning has thrown 2 or more INTs in 25% of them. In the playoffs is 28%

Brady: 225 games. 2 ore more picks in 6.4% of them. Playoffs: 24%

That KC game in Denver was weeks ago, the Broncos had no identity back then and Peyton threw 4 picks, if I'm not mistaken Osweiller came in late in the game and put some points in the score, with more time who knows. The week 2 game although months ago is a better sample of the match up between these 2 teams. Alex Smith, Andy Reid, give me a break.

This KC team had a hard time to beat the Ravens with Jimmy Klasomething , don't be surprised if they choke against Houston.

Yea those HGH testing procedures the NFL has in place are real killers.............

I think they won't pull him. This is probably the last game of his career.

Disagree. They will pull him as Denver mgmnt can taste the SB and they know that their window is shrinking the way they built their team. What's great is, as you imply, they will be very reluctant to do so. Slow on the uptake until, hopefully, it's too late for Osw to recover even assuming he plays well.

Its akin to a tired sore Roger Clemens being pulled in favor of Calvin Schiraldi.

Good luck.

You gotta read the comments. Quite a few people don't know what sarcasm is.

New England is the global epicenter of sarcasm. Its a language in itself.

Manning lookedshot from game 1 of the season after a whole off season...so i dont buy that a few weeks off will suddenly have him look like the manning of old
Since it has been said on this board there is no test for HGH, couldn't Manning get shot up with it for that game without fearing getting caught?

ALl around awful move

There is HGH testing. Its scheduled and players are given advanced notice.

“Per the new NFL policy, five teams are selected weekly for HGH testing, with eight players from each team required to give blood. Players can be tested at any time while at team facilities—except on game days—or away from team facilities with 24-hour advance notice,” Matt Chaney wrote at VICE Sports, pointing out the system’s numerous flaws. “As a result, players basically can inject HGH on game days with impunity. As for off-days and the offseason? They’re safe doping zones as well, given the 24-hour advance notice and isomer test’s 10-20 hour detection window.”

Deep passes are good if they are the right passes.Oswelier might be good but he is also prone to mistakes. They had 5 turnovers with him in the game last week. Not a great advertisement for going into the playoffs. Manning for all his choking habits spooks opponents more into doing dumb things and provides exp. Dont know how this is so bad for the broncos.

You say Osweiler is prone to mistakes but ignore the fact that Manning has thrown 17 interceptions in only 10 games this year. Osweiler has an interception percentage of 2.2% while Manning's is 5.1%. So while Osweiler is prone to mistakes, Manning is even more so.
