I will be shocked to see Cannon on this team next year.

Didn't Brady play with a high ankle sprain for the dreaded 2012 Superbowl?

I think he just threw himself at brady and ended up hitting his leg. Cannon just completely forgot to block him. I hope to never see Cannon play in the post season.

The IOL was slow getting over.

The draft needs to be hit hard at several positions including: OT, RB, CB, and WR--in no particular order. Simple as that.

I'm starting to think that we may as well just dedicate draft resources to these 4 positions every year, just to be safe.

Does anyone know if the team is practicing tomorrow? I hope so, they need as much practice as they can possibly get.

Brandon Marshall on Inside the NFL was poo pooing the Pats and basically said Tom is 38 and looks tired. Maybe they can get some rest etc.

Boomer burned him by saying the reason he may be tired is the 28 playoff games he has played in. Marshall obviously hasn't been to one. :D

Real world only 5 to 15% of sprains are high ankle sprains.

Sports journalism 99% of sprains are high ankle sprains.

When was the last time you heard of a sprained ankle that wasn't reported as a "high" ankle sprain.

High ankle sprain = can't put weight on it. You're not playing on it that day. mildest [grade one] = 6 weeks recovery, crutches.

So even with the report of no limp people are still buying ****head breer's high ankle sprain report?

What’s with all the freaking drama. Not like Brady is Cam Newton or Russell Wilson – QBs who rely on their feet to extend and make plays. Brady is a pocket passer. True, he did increase his scrambling this season, but those are still few and far in between. And even when he takes off, it usually to avoid a rush, flushes to the side and sends the ball downfield. Not like he takes off between the tackles and runs down the seam ala Newton/Wilson. Whatever pain residual he’ll have in a week and half, they’ll med him up, and he’ll be good. Worst case, he scrambles out of the packet, while clinching his jaw, swallowing the pain/discomfort. Not the end of the world. I’m more concerned about Edelman being rusty or cause damage to his foot midway through the first qtr….

Wasn't it a high ankle sprain that Brady suffered on the Flowers hit in the 2001 AFCCG? He walked gingerly off the field, was out for the rest of the game, and still started the SB seven days later. I think he'll be OK. It's not like he has to worry about stepping up in the pocket, since this OL doesn't do pockets.

Really dont think that ******* marshall has any room to talk. Seeing as his team choked a playoff berth away. They were clearly tired from their Week 16 SB celebration.

He was 23 then, he's 38 now. But he's taking better care of his body so who knows

Of course Brady is tired. He plays more games, on average, than any other QB, had no offseason to relax, still has the appeal hanging over him and has lost a ton of players on his offense this year. All that would weigh on anyone. Doesn't mean he doesn't have 3 good games in him, though. Marshall is an idiot but we already knew that.

Right, but young Brady could barely get off the field on his own and old Brady didn't miss a play on Sunday, so I'm guessing the severity was very different.
