I would like to see this play out the following way:

Patriots win the Super Bowl and Brady, the game's MVP, walks to the podium. The crowd chants "Kill him, kill him" in unison, referring to a clearly terrified Goodell, who is holding the trophy. Brady's eyes narrow and his face turns to pure rage as the crowd becomes a frenzied howl...he clenches his fist and ****s it back. Goodell, now trembling in a pile of sorrow and pity, shouts "Noooo!!!!" Brady's hand comes forward, as if towards Goodell, but then up again and in a downward trajectory; it's Kraft who knocks out cold with a haymaker. He then takes his trophy, flicking the sobbing Goodell away with his cleat, and says into the microphone:

"The God who executes vengeance for me, and subdues peoples under me."

He then rips off his jersey to reveal a black t-shirt with weird, cryptic symbols, snakes, horsemen, numbers, and Biblical verses and forewarns the crowd that "night is upon us."

As always, I'd love to hear your thoughts on this...

If the Pats hopefully make it to Santa Clara and win can they actually win by two scores at the end? I can't handle another close Superbowl game

No but refs who check uniforms wouldn't let them out of the locker unless they changed. It would be impossible to pull off.
Call that bluff; don't come out. How long would the NFL hold out with the network/advertisers screaming at them about dead air and fleeing viewers?

So many injuries and the refs killing our big plays. Going to be tough to win this year. Certainly confident it can be done but, I like what Arizona is doing.

Yes I remember, and good.

I was just saying that for folks that use recent history as their barometer for superstitions lol

I prefer our Blue (And Red!) jerseys.
Blues and reds are awesome but, I like our whites the best. easily the best road uniform in the league.

Is the point of this thread to pick how we WANT it to go or how we think it will REALLY go?

I'm going to (respectfully) disagree with the best road uni.

I think that distinction goes to Seattle. They probably have the coolest jerseys since the old Pats reds, and I think Arizona is second.

I don't know why, but I always feel like NFC teams have the coolest jerseys... I know most people don't like the updated Bucs jerseys, but I like that they tried something new. 49ers are now rocking a Black jersey, Saints' color scheme is awesome and intimidating. Packers and Bears are the only bad jerseys in the NFC in my opinion. Even with the amount of sweat the Lions' jerseys show haha

I picked mine on how I want it to go but is truly how I feel. Predicted Super Bowl rematch of Pats/Hawks back in August and I am sticking with that pick.

I don't think Cincy can win when it matters. I think Denver will go one and done again because I think Denver's offense will sputter in playoffs. Pats will pull out a close low scoring game against KC and then beat Pittsburgh by 14.

In the NFC I think Carolina is a year early and will lose to a better and playoff experienced team in a close game. The Seattle will beat Arizona again by 2 TD. Minn/GB/Washington aren't good enough imho.

And in Super Bowl Pats win game 27-21. But never trail in the game. And Seattle scores late TD to make it a one score game.

Seattle beats Minnesota
GB beats Washington

Arizona over GB
Seattle over Carolina

AZ defeats Seattle (though I wouldn't be shocked if it went the other way)

Pitt beats Cincy
KC beats Houston

Pitt over Denver
NE over KC

NE defeats Pitt

NE WC outlasting AZ

Ironically in both conferences it's the two seed vs the six seed and the SB being a battle of the two's.
