But if it's a content issue, I don't think it should be a concern. Most of us will read your reports, along with every blog and story that mentions anything about the Patriots.

I disagree.

It's important to trust the decency and honesty of the blogger. Mrs. B is honest and decent. She writes the facts without an agenda.

A dishonest blogger, say.....oh......Tom Casale, could go onto fan websites under four assumed poster names such as I'mRonBorges?", "AlisonLovesBrady", "Patsman12" and "Patriotsrule" and anonymously praise Tom Casale's work while ripping his competitors like Mike Reiss and Mrs B. last year.

Then when Mrs. B says she is quitting blogging, one of those assumed posternames shows up to "respect that decision".

You're beneath contempt in your indecency.

Randy Moss isn't the character problem in Foxboro. You are.

Yes, and I was wrong to post that. No need to keep up this stupid game. I'm coming clean, admitting what I did was wrong, pathetic and immature, and hoping over time we can put this behind us. I made a stupid mistake. It was dumb and inexcusable. I don't know what else to say but that I apologize for being an immature jerk. Hopefully in the future, people on here can stop talking about me and just focus on why they come to this board in the first place: to discuss the Patriots.

You're welcome. Sometimes people in a new enviroment don't know what road to take. I started down the wrong one at first. Hopefully, over time (maybe years), I'll be able to convince everyone that I made a mistake and that I really am sorry for it. If not, at least I'll know I did it the right way instead of acting like an ass.

I really appreciate that. I know not everyone will be so quick to forgive and I don't expect them to but I'll do my best through my work to show that this isn't just lip service. I learned over the last few months that I really wasn't jealous of anyone. I was just insecure in my abilities to succeed in a dog-eat-dog profession. But I think tonight is just another step in me hopefully becoming the journalist I always envisioned when I started out on this journey. I feel like I just left confession. Again, I will prove myself through my actions, not words. Thanks for taking the high road.

Hats off to you Tom, and some unexpected respect your way.

I'll be honest... when the PatsFans.com Internet Investigations & Troll Tracking Team first discovered who was behind the troublesome posters, and where those usernames were logging in from, what pissed me off the most was not that you weren't honest about who you were (I could certainly understand the need for privacy in your position), or even some of the antics that you pulled. What really pissed me off was that I thought, what a HUGE waste.

Here we had an opportunity for a uniquely educated voice, a poster that could possibly share a bit more insight than the normal poster here because of his position, if not about the team itself, at least about the industry itself from a pretty privileged perspective. But instead that voice wanted to be a troll, to make fun of and denigrate those that supported the organization that made his job possible, and to tear down some of the few media resources we respected. That's what really got my goat.

That you now come out and admit your mistakes, and finally come clean... well, it takes balls I didn't think you had. That, in my book, deserves a clean slate. I look forward to you becoming a valuable and respected contributer around here, whether or not you choose to share your unique insight.

I had to take patriotsrule off my ignore list because he and his other names were dead to me for some time. What you posted last year about Karen, under your I'mRonBorges name, really angred me. I think that you owe her a direct apology.

But, if someone is willing to come clean and start fresh I would be a jerk not to give him another shot. Hopefully patriotsrule wil be the only name that you post under and bring good stuff to the board, even if some don't agree.

You've gone way up in my estimation, for what that is worth. I was seriously pissed off with the comments made on the radio about us having no life, as you may have read in my rant, but you have moved on. Fair play to you.

I have one question: have you ever managed to get a revealing answer out of BB about anything? I listen to those press conferences and just laugh at the way he fends off each question.

Thanks all. You are way more forgiving than I thought you would be. As far as the coach goes, he doesn't give out much information, nor should he. He gets paid to win football games and make the players on his roster better and he's the best in the business in that regard. If I ran a football team, I would do it the exact same way. In my opinion, there are many more Belichicks, Parcells, Johnsons, Lombardis and Walshs that are successful than guys like Herm Edwards.

This thread makes tiny baby orphans cry. Tom, for the most part, seems to understand proper syntax and punctuation. That, to me, is far more important than any squabbles in the past. I hate that every crevasse in the internet is becoming some variant of a text message between two 12 year old school girls. How do children make it through grade school these days?
