If Thompkins holds onto the ball, it becomes the most famous touchdown reception in Jets history. He becomes a local hero, the unheralded receiver who made the play that saved a storybook season. Who knows what a 73-yard miracle score would have meant to Gang Green? In a wide-open AFC, the Jets had as good a shot as anyone to get to Santa Clara. Maybe it goes down as the catalyst that ended a 47-year Super Bowl drought. "I would have scored, 100 percent," Thompkins said afterward. Only he didn't. Bills safety Mario Butler jarred the ball loose, denying the Jets their Joe Flacco-to-Jacoby Jones moment. Instead of one of the most famous plays in franchise history, it was simply an incompletion that preceded a game-sealing interception.

Same ol' Jests..
Guess they figured out why we dropped Thompkins -- he drops more than he catches!
Is it time for the 2016 edition?????
Not yet. I'm really enjoying their collapse. Is it time for the 2016 edition?????

Losing to Rex Ryan, Fitzy barfing on his shoes and Revis getting roasted by Wadkins. LMAO.
That wasn't a drop. The defender made a good play by hitting the ball with his shoulder just as KT caught it.
Wow i don't remember some of these guys and they were first round picks. they must of really stunk.
After the Super Bowl I'll start a new one.Is it time for the 2016 edition?????
That comment with that username is like some new wave-online onomatopoeia.By the way, congratulations to the Jets for securing the worst draft slot of any non-playoff team! You earned it!
I haven't reviewed any video (ugh, can't even stomach the idea of watching more Jets!) but I saw it live plus the replays and I thought he had enough time with his hands on the ball to put it away if he had strong hands. Of course, we all know he doesn't have good hands, we've all seen enough of him when he was here. That wasn't a drop. Wow, that's a lot of suckage, kind of like the undertow at a waste water treatment plant. The 10 biggest draft busts in Jets history
What is it with the Jets and mens butts?
Sheldon Richardson sat facing his locker with his head buried in a towel sobbing. Ryan Fitzpatrick, who threw away the season with interceptions on the Jets’ final three possessions, said his heart hurt for his teammates. Eric Decker had no trouble finding the proper words to describe the end of the Jets’ heartbreaking season. “It sucks,” he said. The Jets lost, 22-17, and this is not the first time they have blown a win-and-they’re-in for the playoffs in the final game of the season, but this may just be the worst regular-season loss in their 56-season sorry history, even more painful than when Bill Parcells allowed Leon Johnson to throw a halfback option in Detroit in 1997 that was intercepted in the end zone or giving up a 14-0 lead to the Ravens in 2000 and losing by two touchdowns.
