Despite missing 7 1/2 games Edelman was 2nd on the team in receiving yards, and receiving touchdowns to Gronkowski. It continues to shock me how much people undervalue his significance to the team.

Right. Hoping Edelmans quick speed and elusiveness open up lanes for Gronkowski and the running game. Should be interesting.

Anyone would think we were missing Jones, High, Edelman, others, and played vanilla football all game...

Maybe it is time for Bill to go??

We have been the worst offense on the nfl the last 2 weeks maybe longer. We basically had one good play in offense today. Your argument says whoever has Edelman is the best offense in the league regardless of who the other ten are. And Edelman after sitting for 2 months isn't going to be the guy you remember.

then bet everything you own on the game...tell us how much you made out afterwards. Should be easy money, right?

F---in' A.

I'm planning an all hands on deck during the playoffs. I think key players will have 2 weeks to get as healthy as possible.

I think BB was playing to win but put a priority on getting players healthy. He also gave S Jax a chance to get some reps in.

We'll see how this works out but these guys have played through a ridiculously injure laden season. Let's see how it works out in two weeks.

I don't see why this post deserved a dislike..

Tony, Jackson was the only bright spot today for me. He ran good and hard

I never thought I'd miss Connolly and Wendell so much. It all starts with the poor play of the Oline. Scar must be rolling on his recliner at his beach house.

I'm one of the biggest bb backers in the world. But he had made bad and uncharacteristic moves for a month. He is playing scared. We are afraid to have the football.

What other bb team loses 3 games to non playoff teams in December and January? What be team has limped into the playoffs worse that this? What bb team is afraid to play offense?

Again who cares if we limp into the playoffs or charge in there full steam if the team that will play in the playoffs is a completely different one than who played the last two games.

Not dead yet, but not good.

So let me get this straight. This team is terrible and will one and done but if somehow we had won today 13-10 and got HFA we wouldve been world beaters? Which is it ?

2002 and 2009 were much worse.

Season-long, absolutely. But at no point were either of those teams worse than this one is right now.

Hopefully the return of Jones, Hightower, Vollmer and Edelman brings us back to October-level football, but I'm not assuming it by a long shot.

We'll just have to wait and see. I think we'll know a lot very quickly when the divisional round rolls around. We should know before halftime which team has shown up.

Why not close this thread and move all discussion to the post game thread? I don't understand why that isn't standard procedure every week.

He didn't run that well he had 35 yards on 14 carries a 2.5 average. He can get the ball in from the goal line and he can pickup a short yard but he is clearly not a feature back anymore.

It would be nice if they could flip a switch and become a good team while sitting around for 2 weeks.
Right now this is the worst I've seen this team look since bb got here. Does anyone dispute that? And these were games that mattered a lot.

Yeah the injuries have hurt them tremendously over the last two months. We'll see how they look with everyone playing. I also remember how good they looked at the beginning of the season.
