With all these injuries.....I think they are seriously down to about 42 players that can be counted on logging dccent playing time ( maybe even less).

That is going to significantly change the way they play this game. It has too.....here's one way to look at it.

I think they try to run out the clock from their first score onwards. Lots of Jackson / Bolden runs with plenty of short " keep the clock running" passes out of the backfield to white, with Martin actually getting first look in the short game. The less they need from Lafell, Amendola and Gronk, the better because that will mean the clock killing game plan is working.

I think you are even going to see bend don't break defense, designed to keep everything in front of them and again, run clock. Allow the short stuff, tackle well and see if Dolphins have the patience and ability to go on 15 play scoring drives, smart money says they either kick a field goal or turn the ball over as opposed to getting 7.

In order for the above to work out at all, the team needs to score first and play "slow ball" with the lead, obviously, it's really had to do it coming from behind.

It's really incredible when you look at how many on the current roster aren't even down there, how many are active because we ran out of players and of those dressed, how many really shouldn't be.

I don't ever recall, seeing any team this bad off - doing so well. We may actually " limp " in to the # 1 seed......who does that??

And thinking that guy is a deep threat only shows you have no clue about him. LaFell is more of a deep threat than that guy is.

....not with his current foot condition he isn't.

Waddle's left shoulder isn't right. It's sagging after each rep. He can't go today unless it's an emergency.

I hate to say this, but this may have been one situation where Mr. Waddle may have to be war fodder to preserve Vollmer/Cannon/Stork (who has filled in at LT before). But after this, it doesn't even look good for that.

Or maybe, this is a Mike Williams at Tackle game.

If Waddle was war fodder they would have IRed him and brought up another OT.

War Fodder TODAY.

They probably thought he would be ok to go yesterday.

Can a team bring up a player to the active roster 2 hours before a game? I don't know the answer to that.

No. Deadline to promote player to active roster was 1pm yesterday.

So, nothing new then? Just grinding away...

Grind grind it out with a lot not playing

Down to bare bones already, the usual game injuries could result in some unusual line ups.
