How many times have we said that lately.

They are looking at immediate needs and will keep moving pieces around. Unless he's claimed he will be back.

Didn't show enough as a lead blocker to be seriously considered as a FB. He was just a big back (with plenty of heart) that lacked explosion.

Well he's just not very good, so this isn't really a surprise.

RB/FB Joey Iosefa cleared waivers and is now free to sign with the Patriots' practice squad, which is the intention.

4 ST (incl. Slater)

Keep him on the practice squad, nice insurance if needed.. right now everyone is needed.

Better to have someone familiar with the offense, rather trying bring someone from the street up to speed in the next couple of weeks..
