Just a cheap shot at some Giant fans I know who spend time here. As in most Giant fans are wusses who can't physically defend themselves. (Jets = blue collar. Midgets = white collar.)
Jets - 47 seasons since a SB

always THE winner, PFS74

Eh, from the look of the video it was two dumbasses fighting. Some other guy walking to his car pushed one of the dumbasses out of his way, and then the dumbasses continued.

Moral of the story... don't be a dumbass. Regardless of what jersey you're wearing.
You didn't see the sucker punch?....really?...jets blinders on I guess....

Just 2 different species of jerk-offs. I can't tell 'em apart.

I don't disagree with what you are saying, but you are really missing the point here. This wasn't a fight between 2 adults who should know better. That was a sneak attack by 2 individuals on another followed by a felonious kick to the head, while the other guy was down.

It's not just about stupidity. It's about a cowardly attack by 2 people on another.....regardless of the color of their jerseys, I'd say the same thing.

I have been to several games at the Meadowlands, and while I've never been attacked myself, I've heard some horror stories. Sadly there used to be a similar element in Foxboro at the old stadium. However over the years, Kraft has worked hard to root out that crowd....and we are a lot better for it.

Your management would be wise to do the same thing. If a clip like this happened at Gillette, that coward would be identified and barred from ever getting into a home game again. If he were a season ticket holder, he would lose them. That simple.

Open carry for all!

I'm all for constitutional carry in New England states.

But this is exhibit A of why you really can't do this in a sh*thole like NYC. 1/2 of these animals would kill the other 1/2 within 2 months.

Sorry. Don't wanna leave ya hangin' with the conversation, but I don't really care enough about two idiots to keep discussing.

You are right that any violence should be prosecuted as much as possible though. 80k people and alcohol will always equate to some issues.

I've been to 80% of JetLife games and I can say it actually is a great place to spend time with the family. Even as opposing fans. Can't rule out idiots, but if you're not looking for a problem, you probably won't find one. And even if ya do, "good" Jet fans will help ya out (if deserving).

Loved it loved it...loved it!! "Cane we get Brett Favre back!" These nimrods remind me of the Jackie Jr crew from the Sopranos

It was pretty funny, but no Jet fan ever said anything good about Tebow.

This however isn't someone making fun of a Pats fan. This is an actual Pat fan (for anyone who missed it)....

From this video and some of the accounts of attending a Jet game, unfortunately it paints a picture of a stadium environment and indifferent security that may eventually lead to a victim of the Bryan Stow kind. That will lead to media, a lawsuit in the 9 to 10 figure range, and new security policies forced on them that will then eliminate many of the violent 'waste a spaces' as well as the simple drunk idiots who believe their self worth is tied to an ability to punch a stranger hard enough to knock them down.

Seems like it would be easier for stadium operations to mimic the well established policies of other stadiums, for example Foxboro, that make events like this much much more unlikely.

Well stated. I can speak from experience that stadium security down there is very lax.

Even if open carry were legal in all states, I imagine it's probably not permitted to bring a handgun onto NFL team premises.

Except for the 9 to 10 figure Tune. I meant upward of 10 million.
Still a lot of the 'special' holiday egg nog left but the wife was ready to dump it. I just couldn't let all of that go to waste :)

Still, props to the other fans who intervened once the stomping began.
As inbred and lowbrow as we like to think most Jets fans are, I tend to think the ones who intervened were real Jets fans.
