Brady needs to kiss and make up with Revis? Why?

Rarely do I get invited to things...but when I do, I RSVP. Regardless, I have never sent my mom in my stead. I meaning, that would make me a real loser, right?

I posted earlier what he should have done but his behavior tells me that he is a classless jerk that showed Bob no respect. Maybe Revis felt disrespected by the Patriots' contract offer and was bitter? If that was the case then he is a freaking hyprocrite b/c he preaches "its just business"....Either way he is a self-centered a-hole who has no manners and seemingly was raised by wolves.

True colors shining through. Good riddance and I'm glad he is slowing becomming the #1 FA bust of the 2015 free agent class. Jerk.

Revis is Malcolm Butler Lite.

That said,

A. I highly doubt Brady cares, and
B. Revis's quotes were much more complex than saying "Brady cheated" and if you read them all, he was being way more critical of the NFL. He emphasized that people are arrested every day for things they don't do.

Yeah it would've been. Who does he take this week? God help him if he tries to match up on Gronk.

I don't think Revi$ has the balls to cover Gronk.

This is a better NY Story than it is a NE Story...

Participation trophies anyone???

Yea but I totally get Kraft's position and it's a position of being respectful to the host and accounting for proper etiquette and manners. Quite frankly, as host I would be insulted if someone did that to me.

1. He never bothered to RSVP- Strike one

2. He never bothered to RSVP w/ his mom going. He would have been best served by saying he deeply apologizes for missing the event, thanks them for a great season and being part of the team and asks respectfully if his mom can attend the event. By doing that shows common courtesy, class and respect. If he did that I guarantee Bob would have let Revis' mom in and welcomed her into his home.

First and foremost, that was a classy event at Bob's house and not some frat party kegger with pizza and chips. Revis showed Bob no respect. It was like he sent her to retrieve lost luggage at the airport or operate as some kind of courier.

Classless and disrespectful if you ask me and Bob responded in kind. I don't blame the Patriots one bit for how they reacted.
Eh. Take the high road. Whatever

Whatever Revis said, he said and has to stand up to. However the story, and I mean story, because the words Mehta wrote was pure fiction. He was making it up as he went along creating a conflict he first attributes to Brady acolytes among the fans and media, before he sends it along to Tom.

It was a perfect example of tabloid media, a very poorly written hatchet job. I had to wash my hands after I read it.

If you have a wedding and send out invitations you expect an rsvp to see how many plates of food you need to order for the event. By just showing up it is kind of rude to the host who is trying not to waste food, hired help, seating etc. it's possible there were several people who just showed up and they were really pushing the limit.

Anyway this is old news. Just a blip that is probably greatly over exaggerated.

**** revis, tom should never speak to him ever again.

Jets mouthpiece Mr. Mehta is at it again.
Talks about Darrelle Revis strained relationship with Tom Brady and how they need to hug it out.
I would ask why?? Tom Brady does not need Darrelle Revis in his life on any level. Nobody here in Foxborough does. Revis ran his mouth on twitter then wasn't man enough to take ownership of his ~buzzed on a J or wine??~ comments. Then ran his mouth on Deflategate and again isn't man enough and sends Mommy to pick up his ring at Kraft's house.
What's sad about Revis is HE is the one who has never really enjoyed his championship year in Foxborough. What we've discovered about Revis through his own worrds is how shallow and dinkish he is.
Just knowing that one and only championship ring of his will always say "Patriots" puts a smile on my face.

Mehta: Revis-Brady rift goes back to DeflateGate remarks

Why post anything from that nimrod?

Revis is dead to me. He's not the Patriot's type of player. He is loser, he played small in the big games last year and left because he likes money more than winning. Brady and the Patriots owe him nothing and should leave him alone to enjoy the rest of his career losing with the Jets. Just my two cents.

So what's next?

Brady and Goodell need to kiss and make up?

Brady could rightfully expect an apology from Revis or Goodell, but Brady has done nothing to atone for.

Just being the GOAT is nothing that demands atonement for.

Ok, so Mehta ran a deflategate piece, which allows him to troll Patriots fans, under the guise of a human interest story about two buddies having a tiff. The article is a troll job to get Patriots fans riled up and reading his column. It's not about Revis or Brady, and he makes that clear in the story.

It's Mehta. Does that surprise anyone? He's New York's Ben Volin.

What first comes to mind in this situation is that this may be more about the Jets owner and organization than personal judgement by Revis. I think it more than likely that after Revis's $60m pay day and huge 4 year guarantees, the front office was adamant that their new dog should obey orders and play the tricks they wanted him to play. As a result

You can't attend Kraft's party
Send your mother, but dont RSVP
Dont say anything that might exculpate Brady or the Pats on Deflategate

Revis probably didn't like this too much, but his bank balance told him otherwise. He did approach Tom, and why not, I do believe he respects him highly.

The really annoying part of all this is Mehta trying to make a story out of it (probably urged on by the Jets front office).

Personally I could careless what people who don't know me say about me. BUT, people who I have worked with and helped them in their careersthat is a different story. One of them stabbed me in the back and has been dead to me for a few years now. I don't know if Brady harbors the same feelings that I do, but I would suspect that he takes Revis' backstabbing much more personal than say the same comments made by Bart Scott.

Not buying it. The Jets are not dictating what Revis can say and where he can go. This is ALL on Revis.
He's a shallow, self absorbed dink.
