OT: Just a reminder that we're the really arrogant team in the NFL.

In my opinion, Beckham and the Giants are using the homophobic slur/baseball bat BS as a means of attempting to justify Beckham's behavior, because without him next Sunday night, they're really going to be hampered against the Vikings. They're hoping The Dope will, after listening to the appeal, reduce the sanction from a suspension to a fine. And knowing The Dope and it's a NY team and the Maras, it just might work.

Club Med... I shan't be sober until Monday.
Can't blame you. I'm pretty sure you're close to a halfway decent Irish pub on Port St. Lucie Blvd though. Don't take my word on that. It's been a little while since I've been there.

Yep and I'm not buying what the Giants are selling.

Looks like it's still there. It's called "Shindig". Nothing special but still decent for PSL.

I have no love love for ODBjr., however, a coach that allows a team to bring a baseball bat on to the field, hasn't read "Bill Belichick's Big List of No-No's" since the start of the streak. I hope they are enjoying it now, all the way to the SB, because BB has been watching it for a lot longer then anyone on this MB has been thinking about it.

I'd like the Pats to bring baseball bats on the field...at the end of Super Bowl 50...and beat that rotten scumbagissioner like a friggin' baby seal caught on a Newfoudland ice floe.

People call Brady arrogant pretty often. That's always one I don't understand. The only arrogant thing I've ever heard him say was that dumb comment about how many points they'd score before the first Giants Superbowl.

Every other time I've heard him speak, he is one of the most humble people I've listened to. Never taking credit, always giving it to his teammates, always taking the blame when he makes a mistake. His interview on WEEI this morning had some really great moments, just talking about how lucky and blessed he was and feeling empathy for other people who are facing challenges. Sounded real too.
Yeah, a woman at work said that to me recently. I said something to the effect of: "no offense, but that statement shows me that you don't know anything about football and have never listened to Tom Brady speak. Because if you actually listened to him you would know that is as far from the truth as you could possibly be......."
Nobody takes the time to form their own opinions anymore, they just regurgitate whatever sounds good to them. It is sad really.

But I bet she just looooooooooooooooooooooooooooves the funny QB in all those commercials because he's so funny...... you know, the guy who once called out his o-line after a loss, the guy who once called out his kicker after a loss, oh and sexually assaulted a woman in college.....

I'm picturing the end of Casino, with roger in the Joe Pesci role

She's originally from NY. She actually said Brady should be 'more like Jeter'. I almost threw up in my I mouth a little....

Good info.

Panthers have had a pretty easy season with an NFC south which is a disaster, on top of playing nfc East which is a disaster. They've really only played 1 good team at the time they played. I expect them to 1 and done in the playoffs.
yeah . I'm amazed that the media hasn't picked up on this. I think we'd all acknowledge that winning every game, even against mostly mediocre competition is an accomplishment, but I'm not too sure how the postseason will play itself out.

I guess you better go read the rule book. JK

I very rarely ever heard the N word and I played competitive sports my entire life up through D1. Heard the F-T word much more, though not necessarily directed against me.

I'm not sure if that's you in your avatar, but I'm picturing the guy in your avatar playing basketball with a bunch of inter city kids... trash talking. Classic visual!

That doesn't really mean much, though. The 2011 Patriots didn't beat a single team with a winning record and were still a Welker drop away from a Lombardi.
Good information. So, are we both saying that the odds of winning a super bowl for teams that don't play a strong schedule are long or are we saying that, in the end, what counts is "getting there" and what happens next is random?

It's not me but you're right, that would be hilarious!

@Hoodie , not sure what you disagree with here????
