We get it you don't like Pulp Fiction or Tarantino movies all that much just say so no need to bend reality....o_O

I already wrote that I think he sucks much earlier. I also wrote that he's critically acclaimed and has a large following without making any judgment or casting aspersions on such people. I also wrote something that I had read multiple places. Where am I beating around the bush or lying, which is what you meant by bending reality, right?

I never said you lied, your post about Amazon ratings was a bending of reality imo.

I will give Tarantino this - his "Top Gun" rant in "Sleep With Me" was awesome (if not entirely correct):

Oh really, what is the reality I bent?
The reality is that Pulp Fiction is widely considered a great movie, to make the case that it's not you sighted reviews that aren't even up to date from an old report.

QT made some comments, IMHO ones a bit misconstrued, that inflamed an already ugly situation. This kind of thing was sure to bring out the claws of partisans and outrage peddlers.
If what the media spun it into was true then it would make QT's work worthy of avoiding for personal/political reasons. If he wants to bring both worlds together then it is almost unavoidable to link the two. However, again IMHO, his comments were not what was represented in media blurbs. I suspect this is why QT may have exaggerated negatives floating around in the cesspool media (though for me personally I see widely known and public movie makers as good movie makers, nothing more. Their grasp of anything else means little to nothing to me. Personally I'd prefer they give/support whatever they want but keep their public work aimed at the public separate from their personal views for their own personal crowd. And if they do mix these worlds then they have to accept they're inviting their work to be pulled into the media cesspool of political game playing/butchering).

I wasn't making any case. I stated something as fact that I read from independent sources same as I stated it was critically acclaimed. So since something isn't on record anymore it means it never existed? Do you expect everything to be eternally engraved in stone?

  1. You made a claim that was significantly out of step with what most people would have expected.
  2. You've got no citation.
  3. Your only defense to the discovery of the facts to be much closer to the opposite of what you claimed would be that this bad review notion is from a while ago.
  4. A Google search (at least on my computer) pulled up nothing that would back your assertion.

So, given the time that would have passed between whenever your claim was correct (giving all benefits of all doubts), that's something you could/should have re-checked before claiming. "Eternally engraved in stone" really doesn't apply here.

1. Who cares.
2. So what?
3. The movie is over 20 years old.
4. Google search, that covers everything I guess.

As to the rest, if a tree falls...

Thanks for giving it more effort than "All amazon people are stoopid" this time though.

I don't care much for Dan Rather, but this Quentin Tarantino interview on AXS TV was riveting. I came away from it totally impressed by QT.

Derail much

Don't blame me. I made one innocuous observation after they played a commercial for Tarentino's new movie during the night game and half the board acted like I took a dump on their front lawns...

Ok, so you're just a troll. Thanks for clearing that up.

Someone needs to consult Ray Lewis on how to select a jacket, shirt and tie for television.

Brandon Browner, penalty magnet

He's really not interested in playing football this year. It appears he's more interested in being a thug on the field. What a shame.

Looked like a clean hit to me.
